Hired Our Lawns to mow my lawn, was quoted $90/month for weekly service. I told the person I spoke to on their Facebook page that I'll need to be informed when they're coming because of my dog. They missed the first scheduled appointment without communication, then called me hours after servicing my lawn to tell me I owe a clean up fee. Normally I wouldn't be bothered by this, but due to the lack of communication, it frustrated me. I informed the owner that next time, I need more communication to make sure its smooth sailing on both ends. He apologized and agreed. Another appointment was missed without communication. I discontinued the service atp. Then I received an email a month later informing me if I don't pay my invoice (which I thought was paid), I'll be reported for "misuse of professional services". There was no point of contact to inform me that my invoice was not paid since the day I discontinued service.
