He accepted my case with no knowledge of the laws pertaining to the situation and proceeded to disappear after he took my money. Called back days after I had already resolved the issue to try and "advise" me about laws he had never researched. Was literally doing Google search of the laws while we were on the phone. Wasted my money and time. Way better attorney's in this valley. Choose wisely

Trying to get a hold of him as a lawyer is hard. You have to call him yourself and hope if he answers and is ready at the time of his appointments. Feeling delayed when is really a 5 minute conversation takes a week to get a hold of him rather drive up to Vail for legal help.
Once u missed an appt it takes a whole week. .I'm just trying to get paid from a client who owes me money...right fully... unbelievable.

Dec 2022. Defiance Law Firm is a premier quality legal office with a professional and knowledgeable staff that cares about the people it represents. The lead attorney and owner, Peter Rachesky, is crafty and smart in achieving good results for his clients. Although he is not a magician (like most people expect attorneys to be) he and his staff work tirelessly to achieve the best result with the information he has on the case.) I rate him high on the list of attorneys with experience, knowledge of the law, and quality results for clients. A big plus is that his fee structure is a lot lower than comparable law firms in the area. This review is from Ira Karet, a now retired lawyer that used to practice in the same geographical area.

Pete Rachesky is truly good at what he does. He has been in the valley and practicing law for a long time and has good relationships with all the judicial staff. He definitely knows the law, and how to use it in the most effective way to get the best possible outcome. He does not let personal feelings get in the way and is dedicated to his client.
