Mauriello's lawn team was rude, disrespectful and left with our lawn half mowed !

For weeks we had been discussing the method in which our lawn was cared for. The owner John had agreed with us to change their process. When the Team arrived they were not performing the service in the agreed upon way. When I stopped the Team Lead he rudely said "I don't work for you, I work for John". I then called John who went into a litany of excuses why our job was just not worth it and he was canceling our lawn service and told his men to pack and leave in the middle of performing the service.

I fully appreciate the investment, hard work, skilled labor and talents needed to correctly perform these services. But, under NO circumstances will I condone or tolerate rudeness, impertinence and complete disrespect. If you have problem tell me but being rude and "taking your toys and going home" is a child’s retort that only adds to the insult.

This is our experience with Mauriello’s lawn service.

PS. We also used Mauriello’s service to trim all of our hedges which are quite tall. They did an excellent job and i would wholeheartedly recommend them. The trimming Team in completely separate from the lawn service.

They left our ;lawn in a mess and when we called to address it after being long term customers John and Will decided they would cut off our service. Many other neighbors are unhappy with them. They are in and out fast, No attention to detail. They broke a pelican statue in our yard, our new aluminum gate and now a basketball net. Be wary of having them serve you.

The response below is full of lies. William just changed his review to say great place to work. Yesterday and for 3 years it just had a 5 star review. , pretending to be. a customer. They did help us for 1 MONTH free service not 3 as stated below. William doesn't know what happens in the company obviously. They cancelled service because the crew does about half of our street and they spend 1-2 hours doing everyones yard and they have 2 guys trying to do it all and most of the time its a quick in and out. our neighbors all trim their own bushes and trees and say nothing to Maurellios. We were going to leave them soon regardless but after damaging our basketball net we needed them to replace it but they don't want to own up to anymore damage. William lies again below by stating we were behind and that's why they cut us off... but his text says "John has decided we won't be doing your yard anymore. We obviously are repeatedly not meeting your expectations and its best to part ways". He claims below that its because we were behind..... Not true again more lies. When I asked him to address our broken basketball net he said I was a "CLOWN". These guys are bad news. Will post later with recommendations for better service.

John was usually very responsive and his crew provided good service but recently his crew has failed to maintain our shrubs and today he informed me that he is stopping our service effective immediately. Not good.
