I have been using Wise Hands for years for maintenance of my winged elm that was planted 5 years ago. The tree came partially uprooted during hurricane Milton, and they came and did a careful job to put it back upright. I’m hoping it will have a long life from now on. We have been quite pleased with our experience with Wise Hands and every staff member we come in contact with. After years of struggling with keeping grass alive, lush and pest free we decided switching to a Florida native landscape would be best for us, the environment and of course the pollinators. Wise Hands has created a new beautuful blooming space filled with life. Its just been a few months and I've seen more butterflys, dragonflies and bumblebees daily in our new "garden". I appreciate the quarterly maintenance as well. Wise Hands’ co-owner, Malory, and her crew have done a great job with the first of our two-phase xeriscape project, which has included a bit of hardscaping as well. UPDATE: The Wise Hands crew has continued their excellent efforts, watering regularly amid a prolonged stretch of hot, dry weather to help the plantings get established. I can’t say enough positive things about them and their obvious commitment to native landscapes.

UPDATE: Wise Hands continues to impress us! A large portion of our property had completely gotten away from us throughout the summer, but a hard-working duo came out on a brutally hot Sunday and reclaimed our yard. Can’t say enough good things! …

UPDATE: Wise Hands’ maintenance crew has continued to take great care of the native landscape they installed. Every time they come for service, they leave the property looking noticeably better. We highly recommend them!

I needed landscaping help, the plants/shrubs were old and in major disarray. Wilcox Nursery & Landscape was recommended by friends based on the work done at their condo. Nursey staff put me in contact with Stefan and Mallory, Wise Hands, LLC. We discussed (1) removal and replace of distressed plants, and filling in the bare areas with new plants, and (2) complete removal and replacement of all plants. If the second option was selected, the use of a landscape designer was recommended. After thinking on this for a long time I choice the second option.
The landscape designer, Jaclyne Ingersoll, (Natural Eye for Landscape Design) office at Wilcox Nursey, was outstanding. She spent considerable time taking measurements, discussing options, and most important listening to me making sure she understood my concern and it was addressed. A native landscape design/install was recommended and selected. At the Nursery I was provided with a detailed drawing and shown pictures of the recommended mature plants. The plant selection ensured that something was always blooming during the growing season. Also, the recommended plants would attract local wildlife, like butterflies. It is really helpful if you can provide a plot plan/survey so the landscape design plan is accurate.
Every aspect of the planting was exceptional. Two trees and 61 plants were installed, it took two visits. Stefan, Mallory and crew carefully removed landscape timbers, old plants, sod, and the small marble chips that were around the plants. When it was time for planting, the landscape designer was onsite confirming the placing of the plants and orientation. This team effort is important; a small change was made in one area, another plant added to make it better.
The installation of the aluminum edging, plants, and the spreading of the mulch was excellent. The edging was well anchored, plants were straight and had provisions to retain water near the roots (minimize water runoff), the mulch was evenly placed and not burying the plants.
At the end of each visit, before Stefan left, I was asked if I had any comments or questions. The site was neat and clean. I was provided instructions on plant care. During the following weeks Stefan and Mallory were quick to respond to my concerns on watering or plant condition.
My overall impression – my satisfaction is important to them.
The landscape design identified addition work on the side and rear of the house. I am looking forward to Stefan and Mallory starting Phase 2.

It has been 2 years since the review shown above was posted. I have retained Wise Hands to do plant maintenance monthly, They do it all: pruning, weeding, preparing for winter, preparing for spring, etc., at a reasonable price. I am very pleased with their communication skills, plant knowledge, and professionalism.
