Nick Williams, the owner of this family owned and run sod/mulch business, was extremely helpful in getting me out of a code enforcement jam. I'd used another company to start and they installed a pallet of St.Augustine in the wrong location despite my being home at the time. They didn't even knock on the door or call.
When I complained they basically said tough.
Nick Williams had a new pallet and a half of sod delivered within the hour and had it installed for the same cost that Meyers charged me for 1 pallet installed.

I would, without any qualms whatsoever, recommended Williams sod: caring, responsive!!!, and very fairly priced.

Amazing service! They graded and shaped sod to beds only half in place to perfection. They cleaned up every bit of remnants and blew any dirt from pavers impacted. Yet the best part Nick fit me in!!!! I am a small job and he outperformed ALL the landscapers before on service, product. Install, and price. Best Xmas present ever!!!!

Recently had a new lawn installed - 3 weeks ago. Absolutely love it!! Kind of weird writing a review on how much you love your new yard, but I do. I used CitraBlue (CB) St Augustine for a complete lawn replacement in my back yard. CB is relatively new to the market so I wasn’t sure whether or not I should go with it. After doing my own research and talking to Nick at Williams Sod, I settled on it. No regrets!! Haven’t even had the 1st cut yet but it looks phenomenal. Didn’t know this company before I called them. Actually did a google search and took a chance on calling them. After talking to Nick and him coming out to quote me a price for the job, I got a good feeling that he and the company were honest and fair, so I went with them. No other estimates. Yeah, risky I know, but I saw the good reviews and felt comfortable in our conversations. Again, no regrets!! A big thanks to Nick and the folks at Williams Sod for helping me to love my back yard all over again.

First and foremost let me preface this review with a small disclaimer. I am not... and repeat I am not a "review person". More specifically I will read and reference reviews but I do not typically leave them. But I felt compelled to sing the praises of this sod company after my experience.
Firstly I had a bad experience trying to lay my sod originally. I recently purchased a new home and unfortunately the lawn was left unkept and ultimately overtaken by weeds. I had to do a complete overhaul rounding everything up and then laying new sod. I took on a company which shall remain un-named, who promised to lay Citra Blue St. Augustine grass and do all the prep work for the project. The price was good so I moved forward. Leading up to the date of install it became apparent that the sod this company attempted to lay was not in fact Citra blue which is important in my area because it is highly resistant to a deadly lawn virus which is prevalent in Palm Beach.
Fast forward... now I was in a predicament. My lawn, completely tilled and removed and no Citra Blue sod to speak of. The same day I refused the sod from the aforementioned company I was able to contact WILLIAMS SOILS & SOD. I was assured that I was getting the right cultivar of sod, no games and pure transparency. As a matter of fact we experienced a freeze in Palm Beach which left the sod tips frost bit and very unsightly. I was told upfront immediately that the Sod would be very brown but the root system was intact and after the first mow I would see a green grass as though it was never damaged.
The install process was seamless, the price beyond reasonable and though brown initially; the sod took amazingly! I was so happy with my experience and would recommend this company to anyone. Honest and straight forward good business. Can't beat it!

We love our new home, but like all new homes, there were a handful of fixes that came with it... once the trampoline was removed, and then I removed the second rotting wood deck/platform, we had an entire section of backyard that was nothing but dirt and sand. Nick and his crew were the answer. Going to water the heck out of it for the next three weeks, but I can tell you already it makes the entire backyard as a whole... a whole lot better! Awesome job, the photos say it all... next, New FENCE!

As a lawn care enthusiast, I wanted to make sure I found the best local sod company I could. After much research and many phone calls, I was confident that Williams Soils & Sod was the choice for me. I had 6 pallets of Palmetto St. Augustine delivered, and couldn't be happier with the way it's grown out. I opted to install myself, but the crew at Williams Soils & Sod gave me plenty of sound advice to make the process as successful as possible. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Nick responded timely and accurately with a request for a quote as promised. I find that to be a rare quality in South Florida with contractors picking and choosing who they want to respond to (I think based on the size of the jobs and money they expect to make) Those are the people I will NOT call again. as opposed to Williams Soils and Sods who where very responsive and helpful and great quality work delivered in a very timely fashion. What I also appreciated was that there was no need for an upfront deposit and then a 3 - 4 week delay in delivery as seems to be a trend with other contractors.
