I live nearby and try to shop local. I have purchased several plants from them including a Venus fly trap. The shop is beautiful and I had nothing but positive interactions there until yesterday. My experience yesterday was without a doubt one of the worst I have had anywhere in my life. I went there to purchase another Venus flytrap and ask a question about their care. My husband and I waited for over 20 minutes for the blonde girl who was working the counter to get off the phone. She wasn’t even inside the shop but instead she was out front making personal call after personal call to ask about what sounded like her car. She could clearly see us waiting for help as we walked in and out of the shop. She even said at one point just a minute or something to that effect and held up her pointer finger. Instead of assisting us, she would end one phone call and make another phone call. Finally, my husband and I looked at one another and realized that this person wasn’t ever going to help us but would just be ignoring us until we left. So, we left feeling extremely unwelcome. We both run businesses and have a lot to attend to so we could not continue waiting around to be ignored anymore.

I’ve found many beautiful plants here for myself and as gifts. I actually live in Seattle, I’ve brought many plants home to washington state from this treasure trove discovery.
Seriously if you like house plants or know someone who does your going to have a great experience in this shop. Expect to be treated like a guest and be sure to look for really unusual and rare finds.
I’m posting pictures of some of the plants I’ve gotten here… usually I get smaller but they all thrive… as you can see.
Places like this are exciting to plant people…. Like me and you!

Very cute plant shop with a variety of plants. Very good vibes with extremely kind staff. Very cool National park candles and vases to buy as well. Definitely stop by when you can !!

Such a cute plant shop. The owner, Brittany, was so nice and helped me pick out a cute little neon pothos to take home. I’ll be coming back for sure to pick up more plant babies!

WhiteWood is my new favorite plant store! They always have a great selection of unique, rare tropical house plants for a fair price. All of the plants I have purchased have been healthy and grown in the appropriate growing medium that is generally free of all pests. The store owner is so kind, knowledgeable, and truly helpful. I am so excited to come back!
