The Village Green Gardens moved to another spot on the same road, Boston Post Road, also in Guilford. This delightful nursery has expanded and its collection and variety of plants is just wonderful. They have everything you need to care for plants and lawns and I frequent the store on a regular basis. Village Green gardens also has a lot of decorative items for holidays. I'm happy they moved to a larger location and am looking forward to the increased selection. They give great advice too, btw. 😄

Was just about to load our car with top soil when we were yelled at for parking in front of the dirt. No offer to help load the soil for us- we decided this is not a place where we want to shop and left to take our business else where! Disappointing! I love shipping local but do not enjoy that kind of treatment.

In response to the owners reply- I don't believe this- you were rude to us and there is absolutely no excuse for that! Also I tried to talk to you and you walked away! As far as the parking- there was lots of room around us for others (whom we didn't see being that it was first thing in the morning). I've read your other reviews so I feel supported in my belief that your customer service is lacking!

Very knowledgeable, friendly, and more than willing to help! They had a great selection for any types of plants, flowers, shrubs or other general garden supplies! I couldn't stop myself from buying more! The products were well priced and such better quality than other large retail stores! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I always come here to fill my garden. They have a great selection of flowers, it's much larger than it appears from the front! And the girls in the greenhouse are always so helpful with any questions I have. Highly recommend!

I have purchased flowers and mulch there for several years, because I wanted to support local shops. Some of the staff have been friendly and helpful. However, everything you read in these reviews about Tim, the owner, turns out to be true. The guy was rude and condescending without any provocation. I mean zero social skills, which is fine, but not when you're in customer service...not when you're the business owner and dealing with customers. Disappointing!
