We bought a Richmond Home and this company did the yard and sprinkler system I was told. I turned the sprinklers on just one month ago got my JEA bill and it was over 800$ due to water. My water usage was over 4000 gallons a day! I called the company today to ask if they would come out and look at it to re-time the sprinklers. The lady was really nice, but the charge is 175$ - we just moved in! It’s a new system! I have had sprinklers installed in other homes and they always did courteous calls to adjust sprinkler heads or if certain zones were flooding or not getting enough water.
This company has no customer service. Install the sprinkler heads and time box and you can watch a u- tube video to re- time your sprinklers, if you want our help that will be 175$.
Who sets the sprinklers to use 4000 gallons a day!
The sod grass was laid horrible. There are holes in the front and back yard. The hedges died shortly after moving in. The mulch continuously goes on to sidewalk, the soaker hoses in the mulch beds no matter how many times you cover them back up with mulch just keep popping back up so it just looks cheap.
So, in short I would say NO do not use this company.
They are not for anyone who is a single family home owner.

Absolutely terrible company. They are currently doing all of silver leaf landscaping and it looks absolutely horrible. The company installs plants and trees that die and then doesn’t stand behind their work and CHARGES us to replace their poor work. Their irrigation system is awful and breaks and guess what again doesn’t have a warrentee on the piping charging us to fix things. They literally installed plants that need shade in a direct sunlight area. Our palm trees all look terrible and half are dead. They installed grass near the playground that was terribly done and is a hazard to our kids with a strange netting they are all tripping on. The list goes on. The worst part of this company is they truly don’t care. They came to our HOA meeting with attitudes asking us “how long should a warrentee last”. Well if your plant warrentee depends on the irrigation system and YOU installed the irrigation then you should stand behind your work. I am not sure how they walk into silver landing proud of their work. It looks like a child does our landscaping. Do NOT hire this company. The other good reviews were bought.

Crooks! STAY AWAY. Don't let your HOA use them or you'll be stuck with bad landscaping and overpaying for fixes!!

United Landscape does our master and sub division. All of the landscaping and irrigation that goes looks barren from the get go, and dies immediately. This company sets up long term contracts where they give a lower price to start but then make even more money on having to continuously replace the poor/dead work they do. The way they do their "one year warranty" doesn't include the majority of the individual supplies so essentially, there is NO WARRANTY and residents have to keep paying to fix what should have been done correctly from the start.

Every United Landscape truck I've ever seen in my subdivision speeds and flies around like a maniac. They did the landscaping for some new Richmond American homes- looks terrible and half the crew stands around the whole time. SLOW DOWN.

Short story: Stay away, worst service and product. Laid half dead sod and never fix irrigation issues.

United layed sod for our new build around June 2021. They laid 3 different types of grass. Half of it died and looked horrible. Builder had them redo it which took months and months. The crew that came to do the installation was actually wonderful. Hard working guys, you could tell they were overworked but extrememly nice. There was a prior army guy with tattoos and a middle aged black man who were in charge and they were both extremely professional and nice. However, the sod that was laid down was half dead and brown. A thied party later told me that these are "hot pallets" and typically used to save money instead of not being used. I will try to attach photos from this installation.

I called in afterwards and united said it would grow in. Well, it all died and now i am stuck with a half dead yard with a new house.

They also had numerous issues with the irrigation system they installed. They came out many times after spensing weeks trying to get ahold of people. Issues were half fixed and they all said that someone else would come back to finish the job, fill in foot deep holes with dirt and sod they left, or replace heads that they sisnt have on them. Needless to say they never did. Now the whole system doesnt work, has leaks, wrong heads on sprinklers and since they do not document anything properly they refuse to fix anything and are tryinf to charge an initial $195 charge to just come and look with additional charges to "fix" things.

Sara the rep i spoke with earlier was rude, short tempered and sarcastic before she hung up on me.

Stay away. Far away.

HOAs beware! Do not hire this company to manage your community. They do not respond as promised. They re-sod with half-dead sod. Their irrigation doesn't work properly and they don't respond to months of requests to inspect and repair. They zip through on large mowers and do a halfway job on edging. Their fertilizer is not applied consistently and there are dark green splotches in the grass that does have irrigation.

I called United Landscaping because as I was driving home I was stuck behind a vehicle while a united landscaping truck and trailer was next to me spilling tons of small white rocks. Many hit my car and windshield so I wanted to let them know of my issue. Both ladies I spoke to were wonderful and kind. They made sure my windshield was fixed and any other damages. What amazing office staff does United have.

They installed my irrigation system when my house was built. Within 13 months, I ended up with a massive pipe leak in my backyard (not due to freezes, hurricanes, roots or anything else, it's PVC piping and new, leaks shouldn't happen). Home builder warranty on the irrigation system was no good after 12 months and United won't guarantee or give any additional warranty on their work. I've owned several homes (some over 10 years old) and have never had irrigation pipe leaks like the one United's work has given me. Several others in my new construction neighborhood have also had issues from malfunctioning heads to poor placement issues. Buyer beware. UPDATE Sprinkler Head wasn’t installed correctly; it wasn’t hubbed all the way to the joint so eventually the water pressure blew the sprinkler off. Repair guy said it’s poor workmanship and a rookie mistake. Again, buyer beware of United.
