Very fun field trip with kids after completing a botany unit. The conservatory is awesome with many different plants, some very rare and exotic, others just impressively huge and well adapted. Ryan was very friendly and gave us a tour, answered all of our questions and threw in some bonuses - gave kids some seeds and plants to propagate and showed a demonstration of the firecracker plant. We had so much fun. Will definitely plan another trip here later.

Kind of small but the plants are so densely packed you can spend 45 minutes looking at everything. Self guided just walk around.

Incredible collection. We spent a good hour here at least. Some areas are blocked off to the public but a very large chunk of it is open to the public. A lot of the plants have factoids posted about them, and things are labeled well enough that you can actually keep looking up more information on your own!

Seems more like a working lab area than a place for the public to visit. Needs some up keep . Was difficult to find entrance and parking.
