Just letting you know how special you are! I moved away and can’t find a nursery as dedicated as you are to our native ecosystems. If anyone wants more encouragement for planting native, read one of Doug Tallamy’s books or listen to one of his videos! Keep up the good work!

I hired Twigs and Leaves to maintain the newly installed 3,000 sq. ft. of St. Augustine sod at my rental property in the Old Southeast neighborhood of St. Pete. As an absentee owner, I entrusted them with full landscape management—mowing, weed eating, edging, weed control, and reporting any issues. Unfortunately, they failed to notify me of any problems with the lawn’s health. During my property walk, I was shocked to find sections of the lawn completely dead, including the side yard, with significant damage in both the front and back. To make matters worse, I discovered they were using a weed whacker for edging instead of the proper edger. Extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and care.

I was very interested to find a plant nursery that offers Florida native plants. This is better than Home Depot and Lowe's that just have Florida friendly plants. The owner was helpful and thoughtful

We worked with Mike at Twigs & Leaves to create a Florida native landscape and we could not be happier. Mike was great to work with - he created a detailed landscaping plan with many options and price points. We chose to take it slowly and he immediately got to work on getting our front yard in order with different trees, bushes and flowers.
Before we worked with Twigs, our front yard was effectively sterile - no insects or birds came around. But with their help, we love hanging on our front porch and watching the bees, butterflies and birds come by. We could not be happier to get to support a local business and support our local insect population.
Thank you, Twigs & Leaves, for your hard work and for making us excited about our new yard!

Nice to support a small florida native nursery. Kinda a mess, but the plants were nice, bought some whorled milkweed, an oakleaf hydrangea, and bay bean (never seen sold before but commonly seen among the dunes at the beach). Parking along the curb and entrance is along the side of the building, thread your way through the clutter and you'll find your way to the plants. They said they do landscaping too.

They had nice firebush, porterweed, muhly grass, azure sage, rosinweed, whorled, pink and white swamp milkweeds.

I would never do business again with this scam artist and cheat. Michael does not pay his bills and has to keep moving to avoid his creditors. There are many other reputable garden centers /landscapers that conduct business responsibly.

I asked for a design for my backyard and made clear my budget. I paid for the design. Then Michael provided a design that was 3x my budget. When i made clear that was unacceptable he offered me nothing, not even my money back or a proper design within my budget.

Michael is very knowledgeable and sells predominantly native plants and certainly only those that are Florida friendly.
