Taryn is an amazing landscape designer with great artistic talent. She developed my front yard into a work of art using drought tolerant plants and a dry creek bed. She added color and texture to my back yard with colorful pots and various plants. I now enjoy my yard much more because of Taryn’s artistry. I would highly recommend her.

About a year ago (yes, right in the middle of the pandemic) we decided to redo the landscape and hardscape on our new house. Taryn helped us immensely, providing lots of useful background information on the options available to us, and accompanying us to the building supply store, where she helped pick out beautiful pavers for the new hardscape. Working closely with us, she generated a detailed general plan that included new front, side, and rear yards, front walkway and porch, driveway, side walkway, and rear patios. The latter included a new pergola and built-in gas barbeque. After obtaining approvals from the city and homeowners association, we hired Taryn to be project manager. She put us in contact with reputable contractors for the landscaping, hardscape, and pergola, and managed the details of the demolition/construction process. As the project slowly progressed, Taryn was with us every step of the way, even to the detailed placement of each new plant. The final result is beautiful. We love our new yard, hardscape, patio, and barbeque. We still receive numerous compliments from neighbors and passersby. Needless to say, we are very pleased with and highly recommend Treehouse Landscape Design.

Taryn designed flower and foliage beds in my waterfall garden that would thrive in various temperatures throughout the year. We have some frost, long springs and extremely hot summers in my area and her knowledge not only saved me money from purchasing the wrong types of plants, but her artistic eye for textures, colors, and balance really accentuated my space. I can contact her with questions throughout the design and planting process, and trust the finished product to match the planned design.

Taryn has been awesome! We first hired her as a consultant to give us advice on our front and back yards. I quickly realized that I just needed to have her do the work because she knew what needed to be done way better than I and I just didn't have the time. What we liked about her was that she listed to us about the types of plants we liked, she sent us photos and names of plants she planned to purchase before doing so, and she personally set all the plants where she wanted our gardener to place them. I also really appreciate that she is available to come by our place a few times/year to offer advice on ways to keep everything looking its best. I plan to continue to meet with her regularly.
