My son and I attended a bonsai event from Thunderstruck this afternoon. He told me if I could, I should put 7 out of 5 stars! It was truly fun, and it was unbelievably educational. Larry is really patient and kind and fun and helpful. Most of all, he really really cares about sharing the art and horticulture of bonsai! . I thoroughly recommend.

I had a wonderful night learning about Bonsai! My friend and I took a class at a local brewery with Thunderstruck. We learned so much and had a great time. I am so excited to see my bonsai grow and develop and plan to take another class with my husband. The two hosts were friendly and helpful- I can't think of any way this experience could be improved. Highly recommend!

This was such a cool experience! The staff at Thunderstruck Bonsai taught us about the art and care for bonsai trees, and then helped us design our own to take home! As a bonus we got to check out a new bar in our home town and try some local brews. 10/10 recommend!

Larry, was knowledgeable and passionate, making it easy to follow along even if you're a beginner. The class covered essential bonsai techniques, such as pruning, wiring, and repotting, with hands-on demonstrations that allowed everyone to practice.

Had a great time learning about Bonsai with these guys. Both instructors were very informative and attentive to each person in the class. It was very exciting to pick a tree and trim the tree, then plant in the pot you chosen. Very fun time.

Man, those guys gave an incredibly well laid out, informative and hands on presentation presentation covering Bonsai. All of their folks were knowledgeable and knew how to interact with folks who didn't really have a clue... If you are considering dabbling in bonsai plant, I highly recommend one of their courses...
