What a gem!! This magical place is a sweet, calm find in the desert. There is no charge to enter but a donation box on the way out. Well worth donating to, to help support it. There are nooks and crannies as you wind through the trees and special artistic eye candy along the way. Enjoy some downtime while feeding the Koi fish. The owner, Bernie, is very pleasant to talk with. Highly recommend this stop!

The Secret Garden and Grotto has been a part of Alamosa for a very long time. As a child being brought here to feed the fish and smell the flowers. As our children grow up and go to prom and homecoming, they find the Secret Garden and Grotto to take beautiful pictures, with the most beautiful backdrops. When they grow into adults they find the Secret Garden and Grotto to be the place for majestic outdoor weddings.The Secret Garden and Grotto has brought beautiful memories to many many people inside and outside of the San Luis Valley.
