I discovered this place a few months ago and have been back multiple times now. It’s a very cute nursery with really friendly staff. I believe I’ve had the pleasure of meeting most of the staff, and they’ve answered many of my questions. They had mostly all the plants I was looking for which came from a Foraging in Florida book. I highly recommend visiting them and incorporating native FL plants into your FL landscapes!

I'm so happy The Nectary is in Lakeland. My wife and I are slowly replacing most of the turfgrass in our yard with native plants. The Nectary carries a generous variety of native plants, both at their main location and at the Saturday morning market. The folks running the business seem to have a real passion for what they're doing. They're very knowledgeable and very patient in answering questions. Prices are quite reasonable. This is a business I hope everyone will support. (The photo is a "false rosemary" we purchased several months ago and it looks wonderful.)

One of the owners (Catherine?) is there everyday by appointment! So don’t hesitate to call or email to stop by outside of business hours. It doesn’t look like much from the street but the back is gorgeous and I felt genuinely welcomed and left well informed and happy with many plants!!! Will be back!

Wonderful place to shop if you are trying to create a low maintenance Florida friendly landscape in your yard. The Nectary looks unassuming, but the back yard area had a huge variety of native plants to choose from. Prices are very reasonable.
