The Golden Tree Hardscape & Landscape

We used Golden Tree for a hardscape and landscape project in our front and side yard and they did a great job. Project was completed on time and on schedule, I would highly recommend them. Adi was extremely knowledgeable about the plants and walked us through a number of options at the nursery, incorporated our feedback as looked at various optins, and tailooptions, finished product accordingly.

We contracted with Adi of The Golden Tree in April of 2016 to remove the so-called "grass" in our front yard and replace it with more drought-tolerant landscaping, since our grass was mostly crabgrass and was fraught with grass-eating insects seemingly each summer. I also felt bad expending water to keep the crabgrass a beautiful shade of greenish-yellow. :) Seriously though, this was one of the best decisions that my wife and I have made. We interviewed and met with several landscapers, but Adi sold us when he came to see our yard, took our thoughts on the theme we wanted, and showed his expertise by recommending the plan we felt most comfortable with. It has now been over 5 years since the new front "garden" or "park", as it were, was completed (it's for sure not a yard), and it looks even more gorgeous than we could have imagined! The plants and trees grew and filled in just as Adi explained they would. Not a day goes by where we don't receive a compliment from a passerby. The maintenance is minimal, too, compared to mowing the lawn every week and maintaining the equipment needed for that. We like to spend most of our time sitting on the front patio or park bench to soak up the beautiful views, smells and sounds of nature filling our garden, including butterflies, humming birds and hundreds of buzzing bees gathering nectar from our palo verde trees or the many blooming plants we have. As part of the overhaul, Adi's crew installed drip irrigation, even on the parts of our yard that weren't in scope for re-landscaping. That was going above and beyond. Due to the high water pressure in Thousand Oaks, we developed a couple of water leaks in our existing irrigation pipes. Adi's crew came out and fixed them promptly, and discovered that lower grade underground pipes were used in our yard when the house was built. We couldn't be happier with our front oasis, and we thank Adi for his wonderful vision. We highly recommend The Golden Tree for any landscaping work you have. I've added before and after photos of our garden so you can see for yourselves what it looked like before (grass), right after the re-landscape (spring 2016), a few months after (summer 2016), and 5 years later (spring 2021).

We’ve worked with The Golden Tree on three projects over the last few years and have been very happy with the result each time. This last project that was just completed involved updating our backyard with new hardscape, resurfacing the pool, and planting new landscape. Adi and his team are very thorough, communicative, and provide quality work. I interviewed many landscapers before I chose The Golden Tree. My front yard needed a complet redesign that include removing two trucks of dirth, building a small retainning wall, chosing a tree, decide of it's location and rebuild the irrigation system. Adi realy impressed me with his knoledge and I immediately knew that I was dealing with a pro. The job was delivered as promised. The crew was professional and courteus. The job was done in 10 days as promised. Every concern raised during the process was adressed immediately to my satisfaction. Adi and his field manager Santos were great to work with. If you are looking for a landscape contractor, look no further. I cannot say enough great things about Adi, Yaya and their entire team at The Golden Tree Landscaping. They are great to work with, always on time for meetings (which is unheard of in the construction industry), know their stuff and do great work. Their bid was very reasonable and they went above and beyond at each stage. The scope of my project was fairly large in that Adi redid my softscape (lawn and plantings), irrigation, low voltage lighting, hardscape (new concrete driveway, new pool deck, new coping and resurfaced pool), wood fence surrounding my property, driveway gate and secured access control so different crews worked on various aspects of the project. But they were all equally great to work with.

I had a sidewalk repaired due to root damage, and replaced lawn with a drought resistant garden. The repair work was top notch, and I am very pleased with my new garden. Highly recommended.
