Found this place courtesy of the Wild Floridian YouTube channel. Totally worth the drive from St Pete! Most gallon plants are $6-8, and the Florida Native Plant Society member discount is really nice. ? I'm still new to gardening in general but am having some great success thanks to Sweet Bay's supply! I even have my first caterpillar today. ?% worth it! Thanks for the help!

All native. All green. Many butterflies.

I’ve no green thumb. My only time ‘gardening’ is during my supermarket trips, when I see a pretty orchid (have you seen an ugly orchid or flowers?!?) I buy it or them, start of my many gardening -:) journeys.

This place is kind of hidden, lovely. They’ve many plants that you won’t find elsewhere. No a/c (pls no hate here …) One bathroom.

A fantastic nursery! First time here and not the last time either. Sweet Bay has a large plant list with the majority of them native to Florida. I believe the only ones not native were some edible plants and herbs. Staff (Cindy was the person that helped us) are incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was able to purchase some plants a head of time since as they do sell fast.

This is a great location if you are looking for native plants! Awesome variety and super nice people. We were there looking for butterflies and they were more than accommodating to us out-of-staters. Appreciate the kindness from all! If we lived there, we wouldn't hesitate to shop there regularly!

I bought a dozen plants to refresh my landscaping and am so happy with my purchase. The owners, Tom and Richard, took the time to understand what I liked and wanted and made excellent recommendations. I planted the last of my new native plants myself yesterday, a week after buying them and watering them in their pots where I hoped they would go, and so far everyone seems to be thriving. Especially me! I love how they look, how they “belong” in my little ecosystem and how they make me feel. Highly recommend this nursery!!

What a great experience we had picking out flowers with Cindy at Sweet Bay Nursery. She answered all of our questions and provided great customer service. I would highly recommend this nursery as your "go to" for Florida Native plants. If you're lucky, you may get Cindy as your nursery guide.
