I had some of my gravel driveway wash away with the last storm. The first place I went to, not call, was Stone Plus. I had a price in mind of what it was going to cost me. I was so wrong! At least I was wrong about the price I was getting from Stone Plus. They were over twice the price for the gravel I ended up buying elsewhere, and the delivery charge was also almost twice the price. The funny thing is that Stone Plus is much closer than who I used. I'm sure that they probably take care of their contractors better than residential walk-ins, but if you're Joe Normal homeowner, I highly suggest you go to Earth Source! Great service and price!

We are very pleased with Stone Plus in regards to their price, customer service and quality of product. We used Eastern Sunrise stone for the front yard, edging around the house as well as pool deck. We created a home-made diagram to design our front yard landscape, which made the process easy to implement.

We consistently receive compliments of the Eastern Sunrise stone!! It's different in texture and color. Amazing customer service at Stone Plus. Their ultimate goal is to make every customer happy .... job well done!! We are extremely pleased with the outcome!!

Location is hard to find just from driving by. Available products are nicely on display right at the sales building so customers can be safe. Prices anre quite pricey compared to other locations around town. Complimentary water is a bonus and the associates are very friendly and helpful.

I went looking specifically for a slab of pink granite. Seems that only comes from specific quarries. While I tried to decide on something else I walked around the outside displays. I basically made a complete circle and came right back to the same display I had originally looked at.

I don’t need anything big… just a stone to engrave a family name on for an outside flower bed. While I don’t remember his name, the employee that helped me was more than amazing. He physically dug through the bins and moved numerous stones/rocks for me until I decided on one that was suitable for my needs. It’s not pink granite… but still able to be engraved and looks great in the flower bed. The employee weighed the slab and then carried it to my car for me, as well. Service above & beyond!!

Now to find someone to do the engraving!

From management to yard crew, this is a great place for your home projects. As a female who enjoys doing things myself, everyone spoke to me with respect and honesty about what I wanted to do. Which I found refreshing and helpful. They will even try to save you money instead of upselling you on more expensive products. Will return for another project! Called for a quote on #57 gravel and it was $171.00 per yard. $100 more than everyone else in town. The person on the phone couldn't justify the price to me, I thought maybe that was the delivered price.... nope.

UPDATE: I wrote my original review 9 years ago and I want to say that this is still the best place in jax to buy for landscaping projects big and small. Over the last almost ten years, we've made pathways, a fire pit, a driveway entrance, and gravel for under our shed and deck. They have a large selection and excellent service!
