I called Star Nursery on Dixie Dr. on Saturday morning to check their hours and make sure they have what I needed. They were helpful and seemed to have the bulk materials. I was then told the rock center was open until 4 PM.

Since I don’t have a truck, I went out of my way to coordinate one and arrived at 3:30—only to be told that they had actually closed at 3PM on Saturdays but 4 throughout the week.

Honest mistakes happen, but what made this a poor experience was how rude and unhelpful the staff were when I asked about the discrepancy and asked for help. I usually don’t write posts but was upset by the experience.

I went to this Star Nursery location today to pick up a couple of Windmill Palm trees & to my surprise they were on sale. The trees appear to be healthy & look great & they will hopefully do well in our yard in Ivins.

I’m very dissatisfied with their rock center and what they delivered. We ordered a couple of tons of rock and what was delivered was mostly dirt with some rock. The size is inconsistent and the “rock” is mixed in with dirt. Instead of paying for rock, I paid for dirt with some rock. Now I’m stuck cleaning the rock and removing the dirt. I would expect better from a local company.

I appreciate the response, but it would be nice if Star Nursery helped ease this burden. Please consider how you could keep my business. I’ve tried calling with little success.

I was there shopping with my wife and mother-in-law. The customer service was amazing! Everyone who helped was very friendly and helpful. The prices were good for the items we bought. It wasn't too busy. There were plenty of options. My mother-in-law left very happy.

I absolutely love this place. I've been here only a couple times in the 5 years I've lived in St George. But I tell you what they are the most knowledgeable of every plant and everything you would need for your lawn and garden. Absolutely recommend coming in and talking to somebody or buying their plans. Their products are also amazing. I bought fertilizer for my cactuses and they are thriving. I am so glad that they are here.
