Our mom is SO happy at Spring Gardens! She has been here for a little over a year now, and we are ecstatic that we found this little gem! She has made great friends with the other tenants, as well as every single staff member. The facility is immaculate, the staff is AMAZING, the activities are unparalleled, and it is so obvious that Shayne truly cares about his little community.
Thank you, for taking such GREAT care of our mother.❤️

Spring Gardens has been a great place for our father who has been there two years. The staff treats he and the other residents well and with great care. They constantly ensure they have planned activities and outings as well as fitness courses to keep them moving. The food has also been a positive thing and they try to keep a variety of tasteful but healthy options and will even make them special things occasionally when asked.

The Administration really cares and invests in each resident and knows their needs and takes time to get to know them on a personal level which makes a big difference to our father and our family. Spring Gardens is really a great place for seniors who need care and/or a positive environment for socialization and wellness!

Our mother moved to Spring Gardens and loved her 4 months there before she passed.
She considered it home. The staff all the way from Shane the Director to all the CNA’s, nurses, kitchen staff, hairdresser, cleaning staff and office personnel loved Nedra. They all knew her and were as kind and gentle as they assisted to her needs. As family, we were at peace knowing that mom was in a safe loving place. Spring Gardens is a home away from home.

The Memory Care wing at Spring Gardens is the perfect place for my 90 year old mother! She's been living there for almost a year now. When choosing a care facility for our funny, vivacious, sweet mom, my brothers and I were very selective about finding her a place where she could best feel safe and thrive as a person living with Alzheimers. When I was comparing Memory Care facilities in the area, I carefully read all the reviews and toured the facilities. If you are doing the same right now, read on as I share our experience with you.

When first entering Spring Gardens, I was happy to see the light filled, spacious and colorful decor, knowing that my mom would really notice and enjoy the atmosphere, while also selfishly recognizing that it would be pleasant for me and my brothers to spend a lot of time there visiting. But what struck me most on this tour, was the moment we first stepped into the Memory Care wing. Right next to the desk area for the CNAs are a cluster of armchairs. Several residents were tucked into blankets in those armchairs while a movie played in the background. (This is the sight you will see there every day!) I immediately recognized that this cozy area has the perfect blend of ongoing companionship - it's the nexus of all the activity in that wing - as well as a place of comfort and safety. My mother feels a need to have other people always in sight, so I knew this would work well for her.

I also noticed that there are only about 17 rooms for residents, all on one simple hall. The intimacy of this Memory Care wing was another huge plus for me, since keeping things as simple as possible makes life more manageable for my mother. Though she finds it difficult to tell you where her room is, she has learned through repetition that it's just down the hall. And there's only one hall!

It was an obvious choice for us to choose Spring Gardens in Mapleton. I was also pleased that it was then approved by her long term care insurance policy.

When I visit her (which is nearly every day since the facility is only 8 minutes from my home), I usually take her on a walk with her walker up and down her own hall, as well as the three other halls on the assisted living side of the building. There's so much for her to see, (she loves all the decorations that residents put on their doors,) and all the staff and many residents greet her by name. I tell her she's famous, and in a way, in this small world she really is!

When the weather is nice, we walk on an outside sidewalk and then sit on the back patio and admire the hummingbirds and trees and mountains. I love that I can so easily take her out in nature which is just so good for her soul! And it's enjoyable for me too. When I arrive she's sometimes making a craft or attending a recital upstairs, and I often hear about how she enjoyed an earlier exercise class or made people laugh with her jokes. Then periodically, there are holiday events for entire extended families to come and participate in. When my brother visits her, he takes her to the family room that has a pool table, and she cheers him on while he practices his shots.

I personally feel very welcome and at home there and I know my mom does too. And importantly, I also know that I can bring up any questions and concerns I have and the director and staff will make time to sit down with me and help me find solutions. In short, I highly recommend Spring Gardens Memory Care!

We moved to Mapleton eight years ago to enjoy the mountain views. When my mother needed assistance, we were fortunate that Spring Gardens was right across the highway. Fortunate that a such an amazing facility was so close was just the beginning. The staff is incredible, activities pleantiful, and mom raves about the cinnamon rolls. Now we can share those mountain views with her each and every day.

Mom loves Spring Gardens. The staff is so caring and attentive. She lived with us for about five years before moving to assisted living. She is so much happier now that she is at Spring Gardens. She has so many friends and enjoys so many activities and excursions.
