I believe in shopping g locally. This morning I went to Spare Time and found 2 perfect pots and trays, and a pot of pretty flowers. There was an employee watering maybe 8 ft from me. Didn’t say a word. Went inside to pay no one there. Followed sign outside to new store no one. I said Hello I would like to pay. Nothing. I went back inside the first/old store and saw two employees going out of the back. One of them turned and looked at me then turned back and continued walking away. I may be old but I am not invisible. I set down the two pots, 2 trays and the plant got in my car and went to Mendo Mill.

Always a great visit, friendly staff and they have quite a bit of knowledge and products on gardening. I can never seem to leave empty handed. Haha.

The staff are really helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. The plant and soil selection are wonderful. The prices are competitive. I have found lots of my garden and household plants here. If there is something you are looking for and they don't have it just talk to the staff and they will do their best to help source it for you.

The employees here are nice. The last time I bought soil here it was absolutely saturated. Had mold and algae growing in it.
