I bought 2 pallets of sod two weeks ago from them and service and quality of the sod was fantastic. I purchased another pallet of sod 2/28/2024 and it was just a bunch of pieces and was falling apart. I called Saturday and Monday and spoke to Anthony. They would not take it back or give me credit. They offered another half a pallet if I laid down all the pieces. I have no intentions of using the sod and now am stuck with 1000 lbs of dirt on my trailer to dispose of. Poor customer service. I would closely inspect before you buy.

I ordered 6 pallets of classic st. Augustine sod and I couldn’t have been happier! Sod was in great condition. I will definitely order from them again!

Falls apart, hand size sod pieces. Can't even pick it up. Husband calls to complain and they do NOTHING. They do not stand behind their product. Buyer beware.

I purchased a pallet of St Augustine sod from Sod Depot and paid for it to be delivered. 2 days later, the pallet was delivered to me. The sod on the top looked good. As we removed the few 6 pieces of the sod , we discovered that the rest of the pallet 95% was dead grass. It looked nothing like the few top pieces of the St Augustine grass they placed at the top of the pallet to mask the remaining dead grass. I contacted the manager of the store and the home office and they said it is dead because of the heat. However, this is the wet season and it has been raining almost daily. Besides, do not sell dead grass to people and scam them of their hard earned money. This is a scam company and should not be in business scamming people. They charged me $268 plus I paid $200.00 for the installation. I wasted $468.00 and I feel like Sod Depot stole it from me.

This people are thieves. They literally just keep your money with no regards, I was delivered a product that I did not order something totally different and since I wasn’t home to sign for the delivery someone else received my order at home when I call the only answer I got was now there is nothinf I can do because the delivery was made and signed. Stay AWAY AWAY AWAY from this thieves they just stole $281.00 dollars like if it was nothing. Worst company and even worst customer service ever.
Just to follow up on the reply, the driver called me and I told I wasn’t home to sign for the delivery she did not show the product to anyone until the delivery was dumped in the middle of my driveway I have video cameras all over the house to prove this. STOp STEALING PEOPLES MONEY this is not the first negative about the same issue of you guys using the same excuse that the delivery was signed.

I purchased 55 pallets of the most beautiful
Citra Blue strain of St Augustine along with 70 bails of pine straw. The grass was fresh cut and delivered on time.

A week ago, in one day, I was able to get 3 pallets of Bahía grass, the material was very bad, few of the pieces were whole and the last pallet was very bad, apart from that, the loader, who is an American, people a pedantic attitude, he treated us very badly and followed me with the machine, wanting to hit my trailer. There should be more customer service. I hope they fire the white operator of the machine.

Ordered several pallets of tiftuf Bermuda sod. Almost every piece on the top of each pallet was dry and brown. Those pieces of sod did not survive after install within hours of delivery. Most other pieces were also yellow from sitting on the pallet for an unknown period of time prior to delivery, but did recover after they were laid. Some pieces were unusable and extremely thin with little to no soil. Seems like most of these problems could have been avoided if sod was cut same day as delivery.
