I went with my daughter and they were very friendly and helpful . Since they're on the west coast and I'm on the east coast I couldn't buy anything , but I would've maxed out my credit card there because they had so many plants trees shrubs that were absolutely beautiful and healthy . They also had a good assortment of pots . And I looked into them They were clean . My daughter bought several pots which they drilled the holes in them for her as a courtesy .

A nice, big branch of this local nursery chain, with both shade and sun selections. Well taken-care-of, staffed by very friendly people, with sufficient employees to help wheel big items out to your car (a thoughtful service you won't get at the big boxes). This Sloat offers Novato the most common annuals and perennials, but isn't the best place to find more unusual selections for your garden so this may not be a true 5-star nursery. Plant quality is good, and I've been pleased with the growth of my plants from this location.

Got a chance to go on A-day off and I had a lady named Tierra help me she took care of my front yard as well as the side of the house very helpful thank you. And with their plant guarantee it's a win win I will be back

Went to a seminar on growing Tomatoes. It was very informative and well done. Sloat's spokesperson, Jen, was personable, knowledgeable, and we'll prepared. The presentation was very organized, discussing soil preparation, plant rotation, container or in ground planting, light requirements, adding fertilizers, pest control, and numerous other topics. I will attend further seminars in the future.

Living in MIll Valley, I typically shop the Miller or East Blithedale Avenue stores. On this particular day, the Novato store had the plants I needed. What a great spot, easy to get to, great customer service!?
