I’ve been to this shop several times, the owner is very sweet and the shop has a great variety of plants. I brought a fellow plant lover here today and I was disappointed with the girl at the registers attitude. I asked her about a plant I had seen the day before and she just seemed very unhappy to be bothered. Then when we walked up to the register and she still wasn’t being friendly, I even attempted to make conversation and she responded in a depressive tone. Not a great demeanor for a fun and lively plant shop. Honestly debating on returning at this point because to me customer service is a pertinent part of a business. There’s other shops that have much friendlier staff. Hoping the owner has a talk with this employee.

The owner reached out to me regarding my complaint and in my opinion, went above and behind to resolve the issue. If you’re looking for a fun spot to plant shop or grab a beer this is a great place to do so! The atmosphere here is so relaxed. I highly recommend this store, you have to check it out.

It’s like walking thru paradise. Staff is very welcoming but not pushy or persuasive to sell, but willing to answer any questions you may have. There is no need because the plants, decor and atmosphere make you want everything. They also have a half price shelf in the back and you can find some great plants there. If your into plants than this a must visit. Here are a few pics I took and edited to show off the details of this plant adventure.

I’ve been coming here for the past year and I love this shop. The new location is lovely and has a great aesthetic. The plant selection is always diverse and beautiful and the owner Tegan is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She helps me with caring for my all of my plants. Whether I got them here or not. 10/10 recommend this store to everyone.

Seeds in Dunedin is amazing. I've been shopping here for years (old and new location.) The owner is an absolute doll. If there's anything I was looking for, if she didn't have it she could find it. She's the plug. I bought my first Anthurium from her, Clarinervium 3 years ago. Its my absolute favorite plant. People reviewing this shop noting prices aren't tuned into the current market. The plant market is at an all time high. She's paying higher wholesale prices for these plants that were cheaper pre pandemic. Basic economics, supply and demand. It's effecting ALL plant shops. Living in FL we pay lower prices than most of the US. So finding desirable plants locally at her prices is a steal in most cases. It's a shame to see people say such ugly things about someone who takes great pride in her business, who she does business with and the QUALITY of plants in her shop. She's created a unique experience with her shop that doesn't exist anywhere else in Tampa Bay. She's even added a room in the back with refreshments. Makes my husband want to stay longer lol. Seeds in Dunedin is loved my so many. And rightly so. Decent quality, amazing selection, great customer care, recommendations, etc. Plant shopping is my therapy and I know I can always count on Tegan to deliver on that front. Please shop local. This place is what dreams are made of.

Sooo Seeds is every plant lover's dream store. I just loved the decor, plant options, pot options, and plant accessories. Literally, you might end up spending all our money here lol. I really did enjoy looking around the store and the pot that I bought. I definitely will come back.

I must say, this place is great. I first came into the store in May to look for a present for my aunt and walked away with a great centerpiece for her patio table. She loved it and I attest it to the service I got from the staff that designed the pot and made it look awesome.

I returned back to Seeds in January to fill my pots I have at my place in Hollywood. I looked around at different places in my area and could not find something local that suited my needs. I always compared the selection I saw I knew would work for me to the selection at Seeds.

I went back and forth with the staff there to make sure they had stock, would be open when I got there, and they were super responsive and super friendly to me and my order needs for filling my containers. I had great assistance and time spent with me by the staff there that day to help me make sure what I was planting would work and be sustainable.

I have had nothing but great experiences there and recommend you stop in and ask anyone who works there to help you find what you need. I am sure you will be taken care of very well!

I came in yesterday and got an alocasia black velvet plant that’s safe for my red eye green tree frogs, their skin is sensitive and their enclosure can only have certain plants. They also have philodendruns, which I will be coming back to get too! My sister also got me a Venus fly trap and a pitcher plant from here as well, that I love. I have a lot of reptiles and this would be a great place to get exotic plants for their enclosures! Kelsey Maher was really helpful! 🙂
