San Jose Tree Service Inc - This service is amazing from start to finish. Talking with Karen for appointment and billing to have the professional tree personnel coming on site to give this property a safe and healthy trim on all company trees . An arborist Robert , will come out before to assess all your trees. And then the professional tree personnel will come out and take one tree at a time. And clean behind them. Second time I've used San Jose Tree Service & Landscaping and again did a fantastic job and reasonably priced. I needed a backyard clean up after all the rains from winter plus trees pruned. They promptly communicated with me after requesting service via on line, set up an appt working with my time line, everything done by phone & email. Robert Apolinar (owner of San Jose Tree Service and Landscaping) and his team are knowledgeable and thorough, leaving our trees looking their best after trimming! He also gives great advice on watering, fertilizing and taking care of these wonderful addition and long standing occupants of our property. I highly recommend them.
And the office staff is also wonderful! Karen is always helpful when I call and she also knows her stuff.

San Jose Tree Service did a fantastic job with our back patio the last two days. They trimmed two camphor trees, reshaping them, and cleaned up any little "sprouts" or weeds that were growing among various shrubs. They also removed a root that was lifting up some of the pavers in the patio. And what really looks great is all the wonderful rock they laid over the soil which will help maintain soil moisture during the dry summer months and prevent little critters (cats and opossums) from digging in soil. They trimmed the shrubs, replanted some of the healthy succulents, and removed or rearranged old plants. And when finished, they watered everything and swept up all the debris. The workers were all very nice and listened carefully to any requests we had. I would highly recommend this service to anyone!

As a result of the major mid-March 2023 storms, my large Redwood lost a number of limbs, some of them still hanging several months later. I contacted 4 Arborists to gather their opinions, and obviously get a quote from them. Robert Apolinar came to see my tree within 2 days of calling him. Of all the 4 arborists I consulted, he was the most knowledgeable about what the Redwood needed. His quote was almost identical to the other 3. To be totally transparent, one large local tree company was slightly cheaper than all of them, but by only 10% of the total cost.
The team at San Jose Tree Service was phenomenal: friendly, very professional, and very efficient. Most importantly they did a fabulous work at properly trimming my giant (90 feet tall) Redwood which is now extremely well balanced. Previous arborists, trimmed the inside of the Redwood leaving the edges bushy and full hence creating tremendous amount of weight on the branches which eventually lead them to break in heavy winds.
San Jose Tree Service is an arborist that I highly recommend and will definitely use again in the future.
