Over the past two years we have partnered with Riverland on building our Florida garden. We purchased a vacant lot next door to our home and slowly have transformed the space into a peaceful oasis. Riverland's demonstration gardens and the expert knowledge of Vince and Dan have helped us all along the way. Below are some before and after photos of this space. Probably two-thirds of the plantings have come from Riverland. We really don't have much room for more....but I suspect Katie and I will continue to be regular Riverland customers...we love the place! Just going to Riverland to take a stroll through the gardens is a wonderful, worthwhile experience.

First off, the person that helped us, Milo, was super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. I would go back just to have Milo be the person to help me again. The quality of plants is amazing. Healthy, vibrant, and established. The plants we bought are beautiful! They have a wide variety of plants and displays of all the different kinds. The displays were beautiful and worth a tour into themselves. The prices are solidly fair for quality product. If anything, the plants cost less than an equivalent at a big box store, and the quality is far superior. The location is easy to get to, just about 5 minutes from I-75. If you're serious about gardening or having an incredible variety of quality plants to choose from, Riverland Nursery is worth visiting, even if it's a bit of a drive.

Five palms and 30 plus decorative shrubs and flowers delivered and installed. Our landscaper did all the finish work and we are over the moon with the quality and care we received. Really nice plants, bushes, trees, succulents, vines you name it. H they also have some pots as well. They have different varieties of bamboo that are clumping. We got Buddha Belly from there and they have some Black Bamboo too. They have a nice walk path around the pond to see different trees and plants so you can see what they look like at maturity. The employees were nice, and out and about so if you had questions you could find them. They answered our questions and were really helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. We only took one photo of this cute Bodhi tree.

The most beautiful place on Earth. The plants are well cared for and in great shape. There is a wonderful variety of unique plants as well. It is like visiting a botanical gardens. If you can't find plants you like here, you just don't like plants.

Staff is well educated and able to communicate this knowledge in a manner customers are able to understand. Very helpful with advice and design while not pushing a sale. Gave me plenty of time to go home and digest the suggestions they provided. I found pricing to be very competitive and fair.

What a beautiful place! The layout helps you picture what the plant will look like in your landscape. The trees and plants are all labeled and detailed, even mentioning the year planted and size of plant when planted. We loved seeing the selection in the edible garden. Other areas I remember are butterfly garden, bamboo and vines. Not only will you find inspiration here, but you will find well established trees to purchase. Highly recommended!

----Do Not buy Milkweed here---
I recently stopped to buy some milkweed for my caterpillars. Sadly every single worm has died, even the lady bugs that landed on the plant died. I have called the nursery to make sure the plants were not sprayed wirh pesticides and was told someone would call me back, days later and no call. If the owner can not make a simple call , they do not deserve my time nor money.
