Would not recommend as owner uses bait and switch tactic to take advantage of customers. On thumbtack it clearly states he does not charge for a service call. Eddie (the owner) came out to assess our irrigation system, but didn’t bother to tell us that running the diagnostics would cost $135. He only informed us after we told him we were unsure about spending $800 on the work needed. He could have given us a heads up about the potential cost of running the diagnostics before coming to the house and I’m not sure why he didn’t let us know the cost prior to starting the diagnostics. This is clearly a bait and switch tactic to get money from us. He claimed that our lawn needed a more in depth diagnostic which isn’t free… but in hindsight it’s obvious that none of his service calls are free. I let him know that his post clearly says “free service call” and he still has not changed his listing. We were backed into a corner since we would be out $135 regardless and ended up using him to fix our irrigation. He told us he would come back in 2 weeks to make sure everything was working properly but still hasn’t returned to check on our lawn. Eddie never apologized for misleading us and claimed to give us 5% off our bill since I am a nurse, but he ended up charging us $60 in sales tax to make up for that. I posted our invoice on Reddit to get input from other pros working in irrigation and based on their input he is clearly ripping people off. The job he did should’ve been about $300, he charged us close to $900. Avoid him at all costs.

Eddie well surpasses my expectations in a great time of need with my irrigation system. His knowledge and ability to fix the issue is great, but the passion and care for getting it right are what really blew me away!! What would have taken me DAYS (of time and unnecessary cursing) to complete...Eddie finished within an afternoon's work. He fixed the issue while also advising and cutting down my future water usage by re- navigating some water lines.

Going forward, Eddie will be my first and only call for any needs related to my lawn. If it is by chance out of his scope, I will still feel comforted knowing that he as my consultant has my best interest at heart!!
