Customer Reviews

We’ve been going to Revak for 20+ years. Always a great experience. Our new home has a perfect spot for a really tall tree. Although they couldn’t bail or shake it (too big, they wouldn’t do it). They did give us a great deal on a smaller tree and we were able to cut it ourselves. We love Revak! - Emily R.

I've been going to Revak for 10 years now and I have to say, it's the best Christmas tree farm I've ever been to. The trees are always perfectly cared for and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. We always have a great time there and can't wait to go back this year! - John D.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but Revak truly delivered. They had an amazing selection of trees and the staff was super helpful. We ended up getting the perfect tree for our family and can't wait to come back next year! - Sarah K.

I've been going to Revak for 20 years and it's always a great experience. The trees are always fresh and the staff is so friendly. I love the fact that they have a winter garden and holiday decoration service. It's the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit! - Michael T.

I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have any of the smaller trees, but the staff was very helpful and suggested some alternative options. We ended up getting a beautiful tree and it was definitely worth the trip! - Rachel G.

This is our third year coming back with our extended family (three families and toddlers) and as always, the experience was nothing short of magical. The kids loved seeing Santa and Mrs. Claus. We also love the many unique photo opportunities throughout the property and the option to cut our own tree or buy one precut.

This year we were lucky enough to speak with Amy, the owners daughter. She was so informative about the differences between the Christmas trees and what would best fit our preferences.

We can’t wait to come back again next year!

Unpleasant Visit

As previous customers of Revak, we've always looked forward to our visits to the local tree farm. However, our recent experience was quite disappointing. While we were there to take family photos for our Christmas cards – a common practice at many businesses, especially during the holiday season – we were met with rude and dismissive behavior from an employee.

There were no signs or postings indicating a prohibition on photography. It's unfortunate that a simple request was met with such hostility, especially considering our past patronage and that we were planning to get our tree next weekend after thanksgiving (as we do every year). We hope that this isolated incident doesn't reflect the overall values of the business but after reading other reviews, seems like it's just another day there. Unfortunately we will be going elsewhere for now on.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced . They have no one to help load or net your tree. And of course they don’t tell you that until after you pay. When you ask if you can leave your tree there until you can go rent a trailer they say no. So we paid for a tree that we couldn’t bring home. Now I have to go dispute the charge on my credit card because they wouldn’t give us our money back. The grouchy old man needs to retire.

You have to give respect to get respect. He was nasty from the get go. When I called to ask a question, he was rude. You expect a certain amount of service when you go to a place like this. Like getting your tree shaken of needles or a net put on for easier transport. If you can’t provide these services you need to tell people ahead of time.

We wanted to find a new place to cut our own Christmas tree this year, so ventured to Revak based on a Facebook post/advertisement. BIG mistake. We initially opted for the “cut your own” experience, but quickly realized that all decent trees had already been culled for the pre-cut lot on-site. Existing “cut your own” trees were brown and bare. Disappointed yet still optimistic, we made our way to their pre-cut barn. Found a decent tree labeled “7-ft Fraser Fir” for $120.00. Brought the tree and tag (intact) to the counter ourselves (no offer for any assistance, which wasn’t necessary, but would have been nice), and were met with a “gee, that looks like an 8-footer, not a 7-footer” in place of a hello or any greeting. Ridiculous. The tag was still intact on the tree, and to be made to feel like thieves when we were spending $120 on a mediocre tree was pretty awful. We paid for baling and shaking, which was an additional $10 plus tax. $137.xx for a tree with no offer to help carry, load or even give a fresh stump cut. Greedy, nasty place. On our way out, an employee was berating another customer for not knowing the length of twine to cut to attach her tree to her vehicle. Look elsewhere for better customer service, as this place lacks any semblance of it or any holiday spirit. The passive-aggressive and defensive retorts to recent reviews should speak volumes. My only hope is that our tree lasts until
Christmas, as it seems to not be taking in water as of today. If it starts to brown like those on-site at Revak, I plan on filing a claim with my credit card company.

We have been coming to Revak for many years with our kids. Our first ever experience was great, and it has gone down every year since then. The past 2 years have been awful for tree growing in the area and this place has not put in the effort into having healthy trees. The only full looking trees we saw were actually 3 trees growing together because they were not pruned. Even the tiny 4 foot trees are dry and unhealthy so no hope for the next few years. We looked at the precut. We wanted an 8-9 foot tree. The trees that were marked 7 or 8 feet were actually less than 6 feet once you trim the top and the stump. The 9 foot trees were $230!!!!!! We left without a tree. Sadly, they should not be open the next few years while they start over.
We ended up going to Giffords down the road where we had never been before. We did a quick look at the cut your own, but found out later the good trees were about a mile walk from the entrance. We were just too done at that point to walk that far. The trees we saw were much healthier, but either too small or way overgrown. We ended up purchasing a precut tree at Giffords that had been grown in Wisconsin - $120 with tax for a tree that was marked 8 feet but was over 9 feet before we trimmed it - the way it should be!
