I called and was on the phone going through a bunch of FRUIT TREES to see if they have it in inventory and I guess a customer walked in and the young lady told me a customer just walked in. I need to put you on hold and then later, when she came back on the phone, I asked her about that and she said that is a normal practice they do there. Very strange practice. Usually you take care of the customer you’re dealing with and put the others on hold. I guess they’re trained differently. I personally didn’t appreciate it.

This is the only nursery I now go to because their service is unmatched! The staff at Ortega Nursery is very knowledgeable and so willing to help in choosing the right plants for any project! I have redone my entire driveway garden with them and purchased rocks as well from their collection. Recently I have started a garden and have purchased many fruit trees along with herb plants and they are all happy and thriving, no sick plants and the staff will educate you on the care for them! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!!!!!

Could not be happier with my experience. I am clueless when it comes to plants, but I knew I wanted to purchase low maintenance plants that gave the area a welcoming appearance. The staff here could not have been more helpful. They explained to me what plants would best fit my needs and helped me pick out the right plants that matched and were easy to maintain. I will definitely be back.

Helpful and always friendly. They have it all. Lots of sizes and price ranges. Very informative and knowledgeable staff take you around the numerous acres of plants in golf carts. Have been using this nursery for many years. Always the best advice.

Nice nursery but don't bother calling to find out if they have a certain tree. The lady that answers has no idea what's in stock. Then I get to the nursery and the guy in charge with the straw hat has no time for me. So I asked for someone to show me the trees and he said there's no one available so I just left. Came with 1k to spend on trees. Bad business

Absolutely the best nursery and nicest people in south Florida. They have amazing plants and a huge inventory. The employees are great and very knowledgeable about all their plants. We have been to many nurseries all over Miami and this one is by far the best. Best Prices in town!!!!!!

A great nursery with a large selection, very helpful staff. Prices are really good, was able to get two 7 gallon Sylvester Date Palms. One of the very few places in florida that carries date palms smaller than 15 gallons (drove around Florida specifically looking for small date palms).
