We had a great experience with Oakley Landscaping! They just finished our landscaping project. Both Jason and Zach were great to work with. They turned my vision that I put to paper into a reality. I am very impressed that they took my weedy yard and turned it into a place I love and admire. Jason was great to bounce ideas off of and did great at listening and creating the landscape I wanted. They cleared out the weeds, installed a sprinkling system, prepped and arranged curbing, installed a gravel parking pad, prepped to expand our driveway, finished our rock beds, placed our walking path, and oversaw the sod. They are down to earth and work so hard. They are mindful of budget and I never felt like they over-charged me. I would highly recommend them for your landscaping needs.

Jason is a competitively priced landscaper who does great work in South Utah County. He has been taking care of my lawn and shrubs for years. Highly recommend him for any landscaping needs.

Run! I don’t even know where to start. We had Oakley Landscape finish 90% of our yard. We had them put in a gravel drive way from the side walk to the back of the property so we could park our camper there. Half of the year we can’t even drive on the gravel drive way. If the ground is remotely wet anything on it sinks. He said he was bring in something better than road base, pretty sure that never happened. There are 8 down spouts on my house and only 1 moves the rain water away from my house and it’s the one I installed. The rest they installed and all of them back up where they drop into the ground and flood the surrounding area. (Who knows what damage this is going to cause in the future). We had them do dry scape on one side of our house and that down spout “French” drain washes the rocks away. They said they came out to look at it once and I asked if he had saw the washed away rocks and he replied “ no, I didn’t see anything.”
He had to rebuild a rock wall twice in my yard because the first one was a poor excuse and looked ridiculous. The steps to get down the rock wall were more of a tripping hazard then steps. One of his employees hit my house with the mini excavator, the only reason I knew is because I was home when it happened and heard it. When I called them out on it they tried to say it slipped, this is why I have cameras on my home and I sent the footage to the owner.
They “fixed“ the damage. I now have a non matching 6x6 patch on my house that stands out. All the rocks we had them put in the yard with weed fabric under it is only about 1”-2” thick. Almost weekly with no snow on the ground the weak fabric works it’s way through the rocks. They didn’t bring enough rocks to even go to the edge of my property and now we are going to have to redo all of the dry scape and who knows about ripping up the grass to install the French drains properly. If you ask the owner to do something correctly or fix an issue he will come up with any bizarre excuse in the book. I don’t know if he knows what he’s doing, or just wants to cut corners. I am really upset that we have to fix our yard again and spend thousands of dollars for his laziness. I can only imagine what excuses he will have to say about this review. This situation has and continues to be a nightmare.
The times they did come back for warranty items the employee and owner can be heard on my ring door bell talking extremely poorly about me and how picky I am.
I guess this is what I get for going with the cheapest bid.

Oakley Landscaping did a fantastic job on our yard improvement project. We absolutely love how it looks! It's brought a whole new feel to our home, which now includes a custom retaining rock wall and porch, and a few other decorative walls and rock features. Jason and team were both professional and down to earth. Jason held a few consultations and walk-throughs before giving us a final bid, which helped us feel cared for and very confident in the work and price being proposed. Jason spent that same time and care doing the job, making sure we were completely satisfied every step of the way. Yes, I'm gushing, but Oakley Landscaping was totally worth it.
