Think twice before trusting that Newt Gardens will follow through. I first met with them in March 2022 re: a landscaping project at my mom's place. They sent an estimate and we agreed they would do the work. They subsequently said they were having staffing issues and would be in touch re: scheduling. I left a vm in mid-June with no reply. They responded to a text I sent on June 20th saying they could "certainly schedule (me) on the calendar for July." I checked in again on July 22nd and received a reply that said "we are booked up till the week of August 15th. We could do the project sometime that week." I asked if they could do the work the week of August 22nd instead and one of their workers met me at my mom's place on August 16th to look at the job again. She was 20 minutes late because she did not have the address. Later that day, after looking at the job, she sent a text saying that she had us penciled in for August 23rd. Then, on August 18th, that worker called me to say that they had decided they did not want to do the project and that Oliver (from another company) would call me by today to look at the work. Of course, he has not called. On August 18th, Newt Gardens sent a text offering two hours of weeding free of charge; this was after I told them that I would tell everyone I know about my experience with them. Horrendous customer service from start to finish. I only hung in there with them because the project was not urgent and they were recommended by a friend. Steer clear of this unreliable company.

Nothing but good things to say about Newt Gardens! They really are the best in the business. Keelan, one of the owners, is extremely knowledgeable about native plant species and the care they need to thrive. You can tell he and the whole team are extremely passionate about what they do. Though I did have concerns about the limited sun exposure in my yard, Newt went above and beyond in working to find the perfect plants for this space. They even tolerated my indeciveness on each and every plant choice I made.

I wanted to ensure this was both a nice place to spend time and for my children to play, but also a place where nature could exist. Newt Gardens accomplished just that all while coming in under budget. Couldn't ask for any better!

Really glad I found these guys! Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and very reasonably priced. They did careful, excellent (and quiet!) work trimming back an oleander plant that had grown out of control in our back yard. Really appreciated that they used eco-friendly equipment (most of their work by hand, electric leaf blower for clean-up -- so much quieter than gas-powered, and no stinky two-stroke engine). Will be calling them again!
