Wonderful garden to walk through even in winter. There is a lot to see and enjoy here. The volunteers have been busy, but are happy to be on hand with information.
The hours are limited, so I would recommend calling ahead of time to be sure they are open. We went on a Wednesday.
Special permission was given to allow Cooper inside as dogs are not always allowed. He is a well behaved chap and we, of course always clean up after him.

Nehrling Gardens is the best place to buy quality plants in the Gotha/Windermere area. Their prices are fantastic, and they provide substantial education about the plants you buy. Also, they sell plants whenever they're open....not just during special events. Such beautiful people in a historical, peaceful place.

This beautiful historical garden dates back to the 1800's. There are numerous, beautiful plants, flowers and shrubs. The walking trails are lined with many species of plants. The bamboo patch is huge with some 25-40 ft tall. The garden is open to the public twice per year. You should make it a priority to go.

My new favorite place to take a nice stroll when the weather is nice! The attendant was so sweet and explained everything to us so nicely, she even invited us to their art show. This place is so calming and the plants are so beautiful...I almost can't believe it's free!

I went with this garden with my friend flora. We had an oopsie daisy as she ended up collapsing in the parking lot.. Anyways there was this dog named lilie smelling the flowers. Normally I don't bring a bud with me but seeing Flora pet that dog made me feel all rosey. I feel like a new version of me stemmed from this experience and I can't wait to plant this seed in my memories. Hahaahahaha anyways yeah good flower smell nice garden.

Beautiful grounds, friendly people. Parking area was very small, so I can't imagine how they handle larger crowds
