Made an appointment to replace a large ailing tree in front yard. Armed with a few ideas of my own, Tom drove me through the vast collection and showed me the ones I was interested in and made some additional suggestions. I decided on one of his recommendations, and set up the demolition, delivery and planting.
The removal crew was efficient and thorough and the delivery crew led a few days later by Clay did a great job of making a few modifications to the planting site and positioning my new Little Gem Magnolia just the way I wished, even though they had to tweak it a few times.
Follow-up was equally impressive, with email and phone call to make sure everything went well, and offered a few additional tips on aftercare.
There are other nurseries that might carry a lower price tag, but the peace of mind and customer care were outstanding and worth every penny.
Just meandering through the nursery can be a full day trip. Bring a picnic lunch.

Very satisfied with our experience at Moon Valley. We were looking for potted bamboo to add a barrier on our patio between our neighbor’s house and our fence line. Adam helped us select the bamboo plants and select our pots - they had a lot of options at reasonable prices. On the day of planting, George and his crew came as scheduled and took such immaculate care in planting all 5 pots, lining them up evenly along our fence line and cleaning the area once complete. George also thoroughly explained how to care for our plants. We are very happy with the outcome and highly recommend Moon Valley.

We purchased a lot of trees and flowering shrubs which all look beautiful. They were delivered and planted by experienced professionals. Kayla, our landscape designer from Moon Valley, and Seth the general manager were tremendously helpful and we were very impressed with their expertise. Our yard now looks like a botanical garden. I'm extremely disappointed. We purchased a tree in honor of my mom's passing in August. We set a delivery date 2 months in advance. This was not honored, we did not hear from anyone despite visiting one week prior. We were offered an alternate delivery date, with free planting of an existing tree we had plus some ground cover - this never happened. The staff brought the wrong tree, we literally have a picture of the tree with our name on it from the week before. We had to pay for planting of our existing tree as no one told the staff. And they came with no additional plants or ground cover. I am profoundly disappointed as this was supposed to cherish my mom's memory. We are still waiting to even hear of another delivery date and have the tree planted. I sincerely hope you fix the lack of communication among your team and organize better so others do not have this experience.
