My Mom is addicted to plants, especially tropical fruit trees , we live in San Diego .

I brought her to many nurseries in Orange County & San Diego buying exotic fruit trees. These places are so overpriced and bad services .

Luckily my Mom heard about
“Mimosa Nursery ,” and we went today to buy 5-6 trees. I was impressed with this place . The plants look happy , they have so many exotic plants selection. The price and especially the service are excellent. The owner is wonderful, also the rest of the workers . My Mom and I are very please !

You should check out this place and you will not be disappointed !

Can't decide what hours they're open. Chamged the time in Google for Sat and Sun at 9am.

So I bught some trees. We'll see how it survive in few months. I didn't get a bad service. I think it's how people perceived a cantonese. I didn't meet any vietnamese. Some Hispanic workers are very nice too.

I bought a guava tree for $225. I had already picked the tree but one of the worker convinced me to buy another tree. The guava tree didn't look healthy but they guaranteed if the tree ever died, they would replace it for free. When I tried to replace the dead tree, they refuse to honor their deal.

after spending 3 hours stuck in traffic to get there. it was 3:45 pm and they were to close at 4pm we were told to leave and come back tomorrow. Bad service and attitude Don't waste your time with this place. not even given a chance to see anything. They do not value customers .

I have never dealt with such rude services from a nursery before. There were 3 people working there and one older man basically berated me. I do not know what kind of trees to get because my townhouse doesn’t allow us to plant in the ground. So I was looking specifically for a dwarf tree. When I asked he just told me he has hundreds which one do I want. And I told him well what grows well in this area? And he didn’t answer the question just told me he cant help if I don’t know what I want. I’m not sure what his problem is, maybe he hasn’t had his coffee yet. But I’m never coming back here. I have no idea how a place like this can stay open when they’re so unwilling to help. And I apologize if I sound naive, but again I know nothing about these trees and all I do know is I wanted a dwarf fruit tree that would generally thrive in the SGV area in a pot. I didn’t think I was asking anything that was outrageous. I guess if you already know what you want and you know they have it. Then sure check this place out but don’t bother if you have questions.

TOXIC employee !!
Pls BEWARE & ALERT when shop at this nursery.

All previous comments about this RUDE, LOUD MOUTH, skinny male employee at the nursery are so TRUE & WORSE. I witnessed this punk told a female customer to F..off, when she confronted him why he kept changing the price on the same plant. OMG, how would he feel when someone tell the same thing to his grandmother, mother, wife, sister, daughter… I guess he doesn’t care !!

Overall:
- 0 star for this business
- Toxic customer services
- Inconsistent & unfair pricing

Just amazing. If you're an exotic plant fan, fruit trees especially, just visit. One visit, I picked up a garcenia gardneriana, jaboticaba, grumichama, and surinam cherry. That's like Christmas Day for me. Prices are very very reasonable and I will definitely be going back. I drove over an hour and happy to so it again.
