Went in to buy sod and asked if it was fresh and I was told yes. I did not load it so I did not see it. Got it home and it’s dead!!!!! Went back less than 24 hours later and asked if I could exchange it and was told no. I said I would pull it up and bring it back and they will not accept it. I would never have purchased this sod had I seen it before loading. The sod on the side of the street was fresh so I trusted them. I’ve spent $1000s here but I’ll never go back now. I was not being rude just asking what I should do and the guy wouldn’t even look me in the eye, just down at the computer. Said he’s laid sod like that thousands of times and it comes back to life. I feel sorry for those clients.

I bought a bahia sod pallet from this location of Meyer's Turf & Landscape Nursery, when I got to the location where I needed to install it, realized how bad this pallet was, and I mean basically it is just a pile of dirt, I can't pick up a square piece from the pallet without it falling apart. I came back with the pallet for them to see it and to get either a refund or exchange for it because it is not usable. They have no interest in helping me or doing anything at all, they haven't even taken the time to check the pallet to confirm how bad it is. Then I realize that I have a $20 credit card fee charge, after the guy telling me it is a 1.035% which should only be about $6. These people are stealing from their customers and something needs to be done.

My experience with Meyer's Turf & Landscape Nursery South has not been a good one. I would NOT recommend them. We purchased a pallet of sod and upon bringing it home, we realized that the sod below the top layer was yellow and brown. We immediately called and were instructed to text pictures to another number. A few minutes after texting, we received a reply recommending that we lay the sod "consistently watering for about 2 weeks. By then, it should look better. If not, please contact us again to see how we can resolve this." The sod quickly went from yellow to brown, and we updated them via text with current pictures. No response was given. A week after purchase, we went back to the store. We shared pictures of the sod with the employee, and he admitted that the sod looked rough. He told us that we would need to talk to management, took down our information, and told us we should receive a phone call from management at the beginning of the week. After no callback, I called them. I was told by the woman who answered the phone that she would need to talk to others familiar with our complaint, and I would receive a callback. After hours of no callback, I emailed, and again, no response. I called again the next day and was asked to text the pictures again. She agreed that the sod did not look good after the pictures were received. She said that my complaint was going to be relayed to management and that a callback would happen the next morning. Here, I sit with no callback again. This company does NOT stand behind its product or its word.

I purchased Palm trees, bushes and some other plants. Julian gave me excellent service and helped me select the plants for my project. I would definitely recommend Meyers to anyone.

The sod that I purchased
died with in 3 weeks of installation. I watered 2x daily as instructed. I sent them documentation and it fell on deaf ears. I am not a big client just someone who wanted a nice place for my dog to lay on. When I was removing some of it, I saw what appeared to be grubs.

There are no prices on anything! Sorry, I’m not a rich palm beacher and I need to shop by price… I needed 6 plants today but I can’t shop with no prices. Do they expect you to take each plant you’re interested in to the trailer and have them all checked? And how do you know they aren’t just making up the prices? Not a very transparent business.

I did ask someone for a price and he told me he didn’t know and to take it inside to ask.

Scam artists! My boyfriend bought an $800 planter pot at this location and was never informed the pot had been cracked and repaired. It wasn’t until a few weeks later that the rain washed away the paint to expose the large crack along the bottom half of the pot and glue. I called up to ask if I could exchange it for an undamaged pot and the lady on the phone was incredibly rude. She said, “why didn’t you inspect the pot before you purchased it to see that it wasn’t cracked? This is YOUR fault.” I only saw a picture of the pot to check the size and color- when I re-examined the photos my boyfriend had sent me I could see that there was a discoloration where the pot had been cracked and painted- ONLY by zooming in. I would never assume that a brand new pot from a “reputable” business would actually be damaged goods fit for the dump. We were NEVER informed the pot was cracked - why would we spend $800 on a single pot of it was massively damaged? My landscaper worries that the pot will eventually crack if too much pressure is put on the pot - it’s a ticking time bomb. These people scam unsuspecting customers and there is ZERO customer service. In fact, the lady on the phone seemed to take some weird sadistic pleasure in the fact that they got away with it. No offer to exchange the pot or apology. Sad that these sorts of people are running scam businesses in our community.

Impeccable customer service and very fair pricing. Pulled in last minute for some sod and was met immediately by my vehicle offering assistance. Staff loaded the sod in a clean manner into my vehicle and they placed a plastic cover down in the trunk as well. Hard to find customer service like that during these times. Highly recommended.
