He redesigned my garden completely in 2012 and the garden has become a booming and blooming little paradise and nature sanctuary in my community. Professional garden designer here. MBN is of the best nurseries in South Florida if you are specifically looking for native plants, especially herbaceous material. Carl, the owner, is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and will help you look for what you need if you’re not sure! The prices are extremely reasonable too.

I recently got some marsh ferns and purple ironweed for a garden I designed for a client, and both plants are thriving!

I can't say enough great things about Meadow Beauty Nursery! We made an appointment to meet with Carl to discuss the landscape design of our home. Carl spent endless time walking us through the plants explaining where each one came from, how he gathers the seeds and creates the plants, discussing which area of Florida each is "native" to. I learned so much. Then Carl came to our home and drew up a basic design for converting to a primarily native plant landscaping. After handling some of the "demo", Carl was back to personally install each plant in the best location. He recommended someone to handle a redesign of the sprinkler system and lighting...Mark was also amazing! Carl has been back a couple times to check up on things and tweak the plants. I'm sure we'll call him back once or twice a year just to ask his opinion on what's next because we trust him implicitly. You can't go wrong with Carl and Meadow Beauty Nursery. Design was perfect for our little lot, plants are beautiful, install was handled quickly and effortlessly and worth every penny of what was way, way below my target budget. We'll rely on Carl for years to come.

Update 10-1-19: Carl of Meadow Beauty Nursery came to the rescue again when we purchased a home in Pompano Beach. We brought the yard down to dirt and planted nothing but Florida natives. The result has been nothing short of spectacular. Carl now visits on a quarterly basis so I can pick his brain and direct me with pruning, fertilizing, watering...and adding or removing plants. You can't go wrong! Worth every penny!

You can find some rare native gems here! It is a small & very special nursery. It is fun to see the different and rare plants through the seasons. Carl's website is so informative and he is very knowledgeable.

Carl and Donna sell hard to find Florida native plants, bushes and trees that attract butterflies and hummingbirds. They are very patient in explaining all the details about the plants origins, care and the specific type of butterfly that it attracts. The plants sold at Meadow Beauty Nursery are easy to care and most are drought tolerant. Prices are very good.

We visited many years ago to ask advice on purchasing a native tree. They recommended a crabwood tree. A wonderful choice. They are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend you pay them a visit.
