I cannot comment on the effectiveness of the Liqui-Dirt product. I ordered this as well as a couple of other items directly from liqui-dirt.com. I received tracking a few days later, indicating that the order was received and was in process. The payment for my order was processed and accepted. It is now 5 weeks later and I have yet to receive my order. USPS says that a label was created by the seller, but the seller never delivered the package to them. I have called multiple times, emailed multiple times, messaged through Facebook, etc. I have received ZERO response to any of my inquiries. I have filed a dispute with my CC company to get my money back. I understand things happen and am a very understanding person. All that I asked was for some communication. I would suggest to avoid purchasing from this company as they have lost my trust.

A NOTE ON LIQUIDIRT:
I've given careful thought to sharing this publicly, as I genuinely support small businesses and have always found the owner of Liquidirt to be friendly in our personal interactions. Unfortunately, multiple attempts to communicate via email through the official website have gone unanswered. I'm sharing my experience here as previous verbal conversations have not resolved this issue.

In July 2023, when I was new to the Dart Frog hobby, I discovered Liquidirt and admired their terrarium designs. Initially, I was quoted approximately $2,300 for an 18x18x36 tower tank setup, which included the tank itself, plants, misters, a custom pump system, a fully designed hardscape, and a custom-made cabinet. I felt this was a fair price at the time.

By August 2023, when I was ready to make the purchase, I was informed by the owner that the price had increased to $3,000 due to rising costs. After additional consideration, I proceeded with the purchase in September 2023, at which time I was told the tank would take about three months to build. As of today—approximately 17 months later—I have still not received the tank.
In anticipation of receiving the tank, I had purchased six frogs intended for it and four more to go in a different tank. The owner kindly offered to care for them temporarily until the tank was completed. Unfortunately, due to the extended delay, I was unable to raise the frogs myself. By October 2024, approximately half of the frogs had died in their care, and I decided the owner should keep the remaining frogs, as I had not personally raised them, and could not guide their health of my own accord.

I've had multiple discussions with the owner regarding the delays. He has indicated that the delays resulted from multiple changes to the tank design requested by me. However, after finalizing my purchase, the only change I requested was regarding the type of frogs intended for the tank—no other design elements have been altered.

At this point, after waiting significantly longer than the initial timeline, I have requested either the completed product or a refund multiple times, but have received no response. My purpose in sharing this is simply to communicate my experience clearly and respectfully, and ultimately, I seek a resolution through a refund.

Corey and Liquid Dirt deserve 100 stars. This plant store meets and exceeds all my expectations! My plants are thriving because of their awesome fertilizer. Corey has so much knowledge and is just a great guy! This is one of my all time favorite places to go to. 🌱🌵🪴

Amazing combination of artists who use plants, hand blown glass and 3d printed pots to create the most beautiful terrariums and plants. They are so friendly and knowledgeable. It's always a fun place to visit!

Always wanted a terrarium and found this place. The two guys that were helping were amazing and friendly. I loved their section of terrariums and can’t wait til March for their build your own terrarium class. I highly recommend going to see the terrariums, house plants and picking up heirloom seeds.

Hands down one of the best places I have ever been. The guys answer any questions you have. They create a masterpiece for you out of whatever plants you select. They have an amazing selection of plants to succulents. We will be back!! Go give them a visit. I promise you will not be disappointed

I would give them zero stars if i could. I ordered isopod’s and a springtail culture. Both were frozen solid when they arrived. They were not well insulated for shipping. The springtails seem to have survived but am the isopods were dead and stunk. I called And spoke to someone who took my name and number and never heard back.
