Our first visit to Leon’s was an eye opener. We were looking for cemetery decorations for our loved ones. We found the most beautiful hand decorated mounds and planters we have ever seen. If you haven’t been there, try Leon’s.

I've been trying to find lemongrass in New Castle county and in Kent county for the last 4 weeks and when I went to Leon's they had very nice pots of lemongrass plentiful! Very clean very nice, I met the young lady behind the counter she was very professional and courteous and I told her I'm definitely coming back and and I really appreciate the fine service!!

Leons has great selections. But beware of mislabeled vegetable plants. Multiple times, over the past few years, I have purchased tomato plants, only to find that once the fruit starts to grow, it isn't what I thought it was supposed to be. Recently bought plants labeled Early Girl tomatoes and it is some type of Plum tomato growing. 'EDIT' ---- Early in the Spring I had purchased Beefsteak and Early Girl plants. Now, almost two months later, I find that the Beefsteak Tomatos aren't Beefsteak Tomatos. They are small and round. Not a happy customer. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ UPDATE ----UPDATE - UPDATE - It's July 14, 2024 (see photo)- In early May, I purchased what was labeled 'BEEFSTEAK TOMATOES'. The tray I selected the tomatoes from was an entire tray of Beefsteak Tomatoes. I selected one from the center of the tray distinctly labeled 'Beefsteak Tomatoes'. THEY ARE NOT "Beefsteak" tomatoes. The tomatoes are only 2 inches across. They don't even look anything like a Beefsteak. I suppose you take beefsteak labels and replace the labels of tomatoes that aren't selling with the beefsteak label. This is absolutely ridiculous. This has happened too many times. Your response to my previous review was unacceptable. As long as you got my $$ your job is done, no matter how bad you did your job.I am so extremely disappointed that I have spent so much time taking care of my vegetable garden to find you sold me mislabeled plants. I am an unhappy customer - AGAIN. I'll shop elsewhere from now on.

Leon's Garden World has everything, Vinca, Marigolds, Perennial Coneflowers, they are Pow wow white, Cheyenne Spirit, and Gemini Pink. For the Celosia collectors, Leon's has a new Celosia called Dracula. I like the Red Twisted Celosia, because they will grow a big head that will drop hundreds of seeds during the winter. As with Intenz Celosia, and other types of Celosia they also will drop hundreds of seeds. There will be so many Celosia sprouting in the last of May and early June, that you will think that they are weeds. But you can tell the difference. The Celosia will have light green leaves with yellow stems. Some will have red leaves with light red stems. You can Google to see the different types of Celosia.

They are currently open and selling house plants. Their prices are great. It is a smaller selection of house plants but what they have is taken care of. Their summer stock is amazing. I Brought trees from here and he delivered them to the house and helped put them in the hole we dug. Very helpful. CHECK THEM OUT

I spent a lot of money at this place a total of 400.00 dollars on flowers and bushes and plants. Had one Bush die. When back and told the Mexican guy that works there. He had a attitude and was very rude. Poor customer service. The Bush die a week after I bought it but the other 2 the same kind are doing great. I don't think I will give this place anymore business.

They are very clean, plants are organized well, most are labeled and in great condition. The young lady behind the counter was very professional. There was a very nice guy help me find the hollyhock I was looking for and very nice sunflowers for my kiddos! Two weeks later and all plants are doing awesome. I will definitely be back!
