I recently had the pleasure of working with Steve, and the transformation of my front and back yards was extraordinary. From the first consultation, Steve listened to my thoughts and ideas, and then proposed a design plan that exceeded my initial vision.

The execution was flawless, and coming home is like entering a different world. There are a variety of native plants with different colors and scents – the jasmine will be fragrant to any guest or neighbor walking by. I also partnered with Steve’s primary hardscape contractor to re-design the driveway and backyard patios. The design and attention to detail were extraordinary, and blended the landscape seamlessly.

Also, Steve was very communicative throughout the process, and ready to adjust plans to fit my budget and preferences without compromising on the final design.

We first met Steve in 2012 when we were remodeling our home. He created exactly the tropical backyard paradise we dreamed of. He handled the design, lighting, irrigation, etc. we also completely changed our front yard. It was an investment, and it certainly required maintenance which he provided. After meeting with Mr. Blaum, I decided not to hire him.
While I have no doubt about his years of experience and knowledge in landscaping, his lack of basic manners and professionalism was disappointing.

He seemed more focused on conveying how much of a favor he was doing by visiting my property, rather than addressing my concerns. I felt as though I was inconveniencing him, as he was eager to get to his golf game.

At the end of the day, he's a landscaper, not a heart surgeon. A little humility would go a long way.

Steve has transformed our building’s tired and overgrown courtyard to a paradise of tropical plants and flowering fragrant shrubs that surround our beautiful fountains. After Steve had done our back yard, we knew we would ask him for our front yard. Again he understood what we wanted and worked tirelessly to get to the best outcome, using native plants. We are super happy with the result. The lighting, the new plants incorporated with the existing ones give us the relaxed tropical feeling we were hoping for. The other thing we truly value is that he delivers in the time frame he provides. His workforce is pleasant to work with. They are all friendly, responsible and work hard. They have the knowledge and do not cut corners we keep using them for the maintenace of our yard, so it always looks at its best.
