This review is way overdue and well deserved. When we hired KKL, our backyard was dirt, weeds, dead trees, and hundreds of railroad ties. Harley helped bring our vision of a backyard oasis to life. From start to finish everything was done with professional care and expert skill. As things were coming together, there were times we asked for modifications and were probably a bit high maintenance. But Harley always took it in stride and was always upfront about any extra cost and timeline adjustments. We are extremely satisfied and would recommend Kauppi Kustom Landscaping to anyone.

Harley is truly a blessing in our life! Our house was built on a large corner lot. We did not realize just how much dirt that was to landscape. We knew what we wanted in the back yard, but we completely turned over the front yard & the sides of the house to Harley to customize for us. Harley is an artist with landscaping! We would never have came up with the design we have ourselves. When we asked about a waterfall feature out front, we were not expecting the masterpiece that we have now. It is actually majestic! I actually feel transported to the mountains when I walk in our yard. Kauppi Kustom Landscaping does a fantastic job! Harley kept us in the loop before, during, and even after the project was completed. Once he started the job, he and his crew stayed until it was finished. Even on bad winter days. The timeframe & cost was given to us upfront. That did not change without communication with us. Our retainer walls were done the right way. There were no shortcuts to any of our landscaping. We put our faith into Kauppi Kustom Landscaping, and we could not be happier with the finished product & the process getting there! If I had to pick my favorite landscaping feature, it would be the waterfall :-)

It’s all in the details. Harley handled my yard glow up from start to finish. His eye for design and balance still blows me away. Install was seamless. I just watched it unfold. I can’t say enough nor do pictures do it justice. Great experience. Professional crew who even chased my dogs around once or twice!!! 10/10

We bought a property that has sadly been neglected for many many years and desperately needed maintenance. Harley and his team have started to make sense of our chaos and we are forever grateful for how quickly they have brought about an immediate change for the better and can't wait until Spring when stage 2 begins! These guys are efficient, professional and have a great attitude to everything they do. Would 100% recommend.

Harley and crew completed a complete sprinkler system repair and revamp, excavated back yard, dug out a huge old tree stump and laid sod to create a very inviting back yard. Due to access to our back yard the crew had to hand dig trenches for sprinklers and excavate the dirt by hand. The tree stump alone was back breaking work. Harley and company were professional, friendly, on time and competed the projects quickly. I trusted them completely and they did and excellent job. My plants are all very happy. Harley has been back twice to check on the sod and make sure all is well. I highly recommend them and I will be calling him to install pavers next year.
