I recently had the pleasure of working with JS Services to landscape my front yard and fix a retaining wall in my backyard that a previous, much more expensive, contractor had severely botched. I cannot express enough how thrilled I am with the results and the overall experience.

From start to finish, JS Services demonstrated exceptional professionalism and craftsmanship. The team was incredibly hardworking, showing up on time every day and putting in the effort to ensure every detail was perfect. The quality of their work is truly top-notch, and my yard has never looked better.

WARNING! Do not use JS services if you don’t like being spoken to rudely and abruptly.

We had Jared out to get a 2nd opinion on a backyard lawn installation we had done 4 months ago. He interrupted me constantly and had attitude that I even had concerns over the lawn issues. Without even letting me tell him what our concerns were about the lawn he took one quick look and said, “What’s wrong? It looks like a good lawn to me.” So I started to show him the rest of the lawn and explain our concerns and what we felt might have been done improperly and the issues we were having.
- He interrupted multiple times without letting me finish my concern and did not like that I had questioned the job our other guy had done and said it wasn’t the installers fault. But when I asked him his opinion on information of some research we had done that would have prevented these issues, including info we got from other landscapers we know (they don’t work in this area), he flat out said rudely , “Well sounds like you know everything. What do you need me for? I am not a turf guy. Call a turf guy. You are wasting my time. I have better things I could be doing.” And he started to walk away. Never got to ask about the lawn drainage problem and other stuff that supposedly he knows about.
Jared was very unprofessional. He has a huge inflated ego. Very direct and rude. He is by far one of the rudest people I have met. I was shocked. Very disappointing. Too bad he gets good reviews on Next Door which is why we called him in the first place. Beware of believing everything on Next Door.

I live in Cameron Park. During the recent storm on Saturday morning I, as I am sure you all did as well, woke up to a huge mess. I called around to several companies and Jared at JS Services was the only one to call me back. He came over promptly and stayed for several hours working very hard to help me in my time of need. While he could not repair my damaged foundation, as that is not his area of expertise, he was knowledgeable and a very hard worker. When this storm ends, and after I fix all the flood damage to the inside of my house, you can bet I will be calling Jared and his team to put in some proper drainage for my yard. Thank you Jared.

Would not refer this company to anyone. After a poor planned out week and a half of work that could have been done in two days if they worked full days instead of less than half days. The owner claims he lost money in the project so he decided to tack on an extra $500at the end. We didn't pay that. He showed up to our home three weeks later. And made physical threats against my husband and made threats to "bash in" our classic car. Completely unprofessional person to work with the entire time. Can't ask him anything about the work without it offending him and cauaing him to raise his voice. He has a great following on the local nextdoor website but that's because nothing negative can be posted there without being deleted. They left our yard a muddy mess .
