I had a fantastic experience at this garden nursery, thanks to Jason's expertise and helpful advice on plant care. I have been to this nursery many times and have been more than satisfied with plants, products, and people (older, younger, male, female). I've shopped there with my husband, two of my sisters, two of my daughters, and by myself. We have all purchased many plants and many decorative items. This nursery has been closed recently at unusual times causing me to wonder why. What has happened? This question lead me to search for information, and what I found was shocking. The negative comments I read began to feel inauthentic and generated from maybe a specific group of people (perhaps a particular neighborhood). It did not feel right, so decided to give my own review of my experiences at Johns Nursery.

I went yesterday and picked up a couple of plants. They have species that the big stores do not have. Overall, plants look healthy and free of disease.

The price is about the same as HD. So don't go looking for a bargain. Their Bougainvillea on a lattice was a couple more dollars than HD.

As previous reviews state, they aren't the friendliest bunch. So don't go looking for tea and biscuits. However, they will answer whatever questions you have. Very knowledgeable folks.

They provide carts to load up your plants. You then go into the store at the end to pay. Efficient set up. Bring help if needed. They don't offer valet or concierge services. Happy shopping!

Great staff and product, actually the only nursery to actually honor over the phone pricing. Just purchased my 4th avacado tree from them. Most certainly won't be the last trees I get from them.

This is the best nursery we’ve visited in St John’s! The plants are in excellent shape and they have a wide variety. Customer service was excellent and we got exactly what we were looking for.
