I’m typically loath to post a negative review, especially for someone who has clearly worked hard to build a business and evidently does solid work for his regular customers. This unfortunately wasn’t the case for me. I rang Nelson, we set a time for him to survey the job, he neither showed up or answered calls or messages, only to text me later that evening. He finally did come out the next day, surveyed the job, agreed to a price and shook hands on it. He didn’t perform the job on the day we agreed upon but did arrive with his crew the following day when I returned home from a long trip. His crew worked diligently and swiftly for a few hours then he texted me to come outside to apprise me that they were all done, despite a not insignificant amount of weed removal yet to be completed.. His explanation was the weeds “were like trees” (drastic hyperbole) but he still evidently wanted a full payout for the work. We agreed on $100 less and he left posthaste. I then spent 3 hours on a Sunday completing the job (I had a realtor coming Monday and needed the job completed) I used a far less equipped electric whacker and had no issue with the daunting “trees” or the many large patches of grass they passed over. Perhaps he does solid work for his regulars- but consider another crew for one off work.

Not only did Nelson and his crew do phenomenal work, which can not be overstated as they went above and beyond my expectations, but he came by the same day i called to give me an estimate and upon agreement, had the crew working in less than 30 minutes. It is truly rare to find this combination of quality, speed, efficiency, and professionalism these days but Nelson Jimenez and his boys absolutely CRUSH IT!!! Thank you for making my backyard look spectacular and i’ll be calling again the next time i need work done!!

Nelson was able to promptly give me a quote for some yard cleanup and we scheduled for the following week. His crew of 3 was detailed, worked super fast and did good work - both the front and back yard look amazing now!

I reached out to Nelson for help putting in a concrete patio in my yard, removing some junk, and tearing up a dead lawn. He came by the next day to see the space and was able to start just a few days later! He and his team were super fast and got everything done in just a few hours. He did such a great job that we just hired him to do the rest of our landscaping too- cannot wait to see the result! So excited to have found such a great company to help us make our new yard and home beautiful!

Update: Our landscaping looks INCREDIBLE!! The first 6 photos are now, last two are from before Jimenez Landscaping came. When we bought the house we had a jungle of weeds and half-dead grass in the back yard, along with some giant planter boxes full of overgrown weeds. The front yard had some half-dead grass and a giant wisteria vine that looked like a dead stick half the year. Now we have beautiful drought resistant plants out front that will look nice year round! And the backyard is perfect for entertaining- we spend so much time out there now that Nelson and his team have made it so nice!

We’ve hired Nelson & his crew to clear properties of weeds and debris a few times. We continue to bring them back as we are pleased with the quality of work at reasonable cost. Recently we decided to have Jimenez Landscaping do regular maintenance on two properties. So far so good! Nelson is very responsive by phone or text and willing to accommodate shifts in scheduling. We asked them to use battery powered blowers and they willingly made the shift. We continue to recommend Nelson & his crew at Jimenez Landscaping.

Our first meeting with Nelson Jimenez convinced us he would be someone we could trust, he understood what we were looking for and worked with us to give us the end product as we envisioned it at a price we felt comfortable with. Job scope was new deck with lattice panels, new trash/recycle enclosure, artificial grass, roman stone planter, paver extension to existing patio, pressure wash existing concrete areas and planting owner provided pants. He presented his quote, met with us to discuss ways to meet our budget, and then based on a handshake he started the job immediately. He met our schedule expectations, made sure he understood exactly what we wanted design and dimension wise and was very good about pointing out issues and possible solutions so there were no surprises at the end of the job. We absolutely would use his services again and have no problem recommending him. Five stars well deserved…

Jimenez landscaping is excellent. They planted roses, trees and flowers in my front and backyard. All my plants/trees are thriving. They gave me a reasonable quote for the job. I am very pleased with the work they did and will definitely use them again.

Today the Jimenez Landscaping team took care of removing my old grass and replacing it. They also changed/fixed broken sprinklers: Nelson kindly accepted to show me how to do it after I asked about this. His employees are very polite and very hard workers so it was a pleasure seeing them around. I am very pleased with the result and highly recommend their landscaping services. I have added before, during and after pictures related to their work done today.
