As woman ran organization I would not recommend purchasing from this nursery. Unfortunately, ALL of their plants and trees are diseased of which I purchased being told by the workers that they would refund or return if any issues present ( $3,000 order) and the company was unwilling to provide a satisfactory solution. Additionally, there appeared to be operational issues(illegal migrants)that affected the overall service experience. I hope the company considers improvements in both product quality and customer support. (Shopped with this company for 6 years)

I have dealt with this company twice now, once as a neighbor in need and once as a customer. It has been a phenomenal experience both times.

About a year ago, my then very pregnant wife broke down on the side of the road near the nursery. They let her wait inside whole she called a tow truck, and helped take the edge off an extremely stressful situation.

This spring we went back, looking for some flowering shrubs to plant in our front yard. They not only had a great selection for our first choice, but also recommended alternate options that could accomplish the same goal.

James Nursery are both great to do business with, and a credit to the community.

Very great experience. Had nave bought a tree before. They were super patient and helpful. Spent time to go through different options and offered helpful tips. Also great at loading the tree into tight space in the car .

- My review focuses solely on the baby friendly aspect. The star rating reflects my happiness with the nursery and the service.
- I went with the whole family tugging a 6 month old along.
- The nursery is huge with lots of greenhouses on the property.
- I had the baby in a standard Graco stroller.
- The parking is just in front of the office which was easy to enter into with the stroller but the space in the reception seemed a little tight with 4 adults as well.
- The whole of the nursery grounds, including the greenhouse floor, has gravel that was not the most comfy to push the stroller around, but doable.
- The space between trees/plants on the grounds and inside the greenhouse was tight at times, making it impossible to pass through and I had to wait on the fringes.
- Watch out for hoses on the floor of the greenhouses- the stroller wheels got stuck on them.

Let's set something straight, these guys are the absolute best in the business. Literally their customer service utterly blows my mind. I can't believe there is a nursery as kind, compassionate, and as competent as these guys. Where to start?

Bill = SO HELPFUL! The man stayed after hours to help me get the product I needed in the 11th hour when I nearly missed a deadline with a client. His help saved me a client!

Carol = AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT and wealth of knowledge! She is always so accomodating and helpful with suggestions for making sure I plant the best plant based on all the variables.

Paula = Helpful, joyful, never anything but.

The grounds crew = I can't believe how above and beyond they go. Last time I was in, I had a van full of trees, I asked them if I could water the trees before the planting. When I got back from the office, all my trees were watered and returned to my van.

WORLD CLASS SERVICE!

Will not comment on the entirety of this business but their customer service over the phone is absurd. I called to ask if their employees are knowledgeable enough to answer questions about what plants could survive / thrive in the space that I have....the backyard is quite small and its Colorado. I do not know much about plants so I figured maybe it would take 10 minutes and 20 questions for them to make a decent sale. I got told they don't really have time to do everything for me, we are more of a plant wholesaler. Good luck on the profit model!

Whoever the girl was working on 5/23 at 3:20pm has a terrible attitude. Didn’t help us even a little. We asked for recommendations for a tree, she said she didn’t have one. Refused to show us trees just sent us to the back. Just purchased 3 trees from another company 10 mins away!

Very poor response from the owner on this situation. Hard to make an excuse for a extremely rude employee that doesn’t want to leave the AC in the office! Again. A tree farm 10 mins down the road got my business. 3 trees and 5 bushes bought from someone who could answer simple questions. Wouldn’t recommend this place simply based on this response haha.

Phenomenal Service and knowledge. All the employees were kind and knowledgeable. Was even shown trees by the owner of the company personally. He listened to needs and ideas and gave perfect recommendations. Priced right for the quality as well. My neighbors in the new build development rave about my trees compared to the other "Home Depot Tree". Won't buy elsewhere.
