Very peaceful and beautiful. I enjoyed the pier and walked the entire thing. It was windy and the weather was cooler. They have a splash pad for the kids and a restaurant nearby too..

This is a beautiful park with so much to offer. There really is something for everyone, whether you are looking to fish from the pier, have a picnic-style party under the pavilions, have an event in the pavilion, or just enjoy the biodiversity while taking a jog or a stroll.
There is a sidewalk that wraps around the park where you can admire the mangroves from the boardwalk. Kids also love playing in the large water fountains.
Indian River Park is pretty spread out, so it really works for anyone whether you are looking for peace and solitude or an afternoon with friends. Best part is that it is free to enjoy, with lots of parking.

Great park for families....dog-walking ...and for kids to play in the splash pad. Has a long pier to fish from and even has a beach for kids to swim from or build sand castles. Lots of covered eating areas which have always been spotless clean when I've been there.

They have a great community building which is rentable for wedding receptions...birthdays etc. My son's former cub scout pack was allowed to hold their meetings there and was never charged.

Co located on the same general property is The Children's Museum of the Treasure Coast and the historic Mansion at Tuckahoe which also encompasses a large outdoor music performance amphitheater.

This is a wonderful park with so much to offer. There really is something for everyone, whether you are looking to fish from the pier, have a picnic-style party under the pavilions, or just enjoy the biodiversity while taking a jog or a stroll.

There is a paved path that wraps around the park, which takes about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. You can also admire the mangroves from the boardwalk -- a short walk that offers a look inside these "natural anchors".

Leashed dogs are welcome, restrooms are clean, and there is a small sandy beach for wading. The river doesn't get very deep here, but it is a great spot for kids because there are no strong currents.

Kids also love playing in the large water fountains designed for cooling off on a hot day. This is located next door to a children's museum.

Very very beautiful with a perfect fishing pond for peacock bass, and a beautiful long pier for fishing and docking. The splash pad is absolutely beautiful and the plant life is beautiful. There's a small beach running all across the coast

The is a great place to take small kids for a fun day on a small bay beach with marine animals that’s visible on most days. If you’re lucky you can see the manatees. Also a great place for first time fishermen
