First of all, it was very hard to post a Google review of this place. I find it odd that is has 2 starts on yelp and trust pilot and 4 on Google and the difficulty of placing a review might explain the discrepancy. I ordered $200 of plants Feb 6. They shipped March 17 for delivery March 21...not ideal for living plants but acceptable. On March 21 the tracking info said they would come March 22...not terrible. On March 22it said it would be delivered March 24. This went on for a week. I called the company and they told me to wait a few days and see what happens, go ahead and plant them and if they don't survive they'll replace them. So basically: We won't put in any effort. We want you to wait until it is convenient for us, then go through all of the work to plant it and if you're garden is a disaster because our plants sat in a box for 10 days, then call us again and wait on hold again and maybe we'll send you a replacement. I should have read more reviews before ordering and gone outside of Google. Update: I did get my plants more than a week late. They looked bedraggled but are doing fine now.

My most recent order has arrived. The plants are healthy and in outstanding condition. This is the 3rd season I have ordered and continue to be impressed by both the quality and the price.

After ordering a month and a half ago, I finally received my plants today. I'm sad to say that I am truly underwhelmed by what I got for $600.

I really wish they would specify the width of the pots that plants come in, because 5" deep pot doesn't mean much and is really a bit deceiving. The pots are 5" deep, however, they are also only 3.5" x 3.5" at the top and 2.5" x 2.5" at the bottom. It's a pretty small pot, definitely not what I would choose at my local garden store.

The plants were all a bit beat up from being packed into boxes and shipped and some of them really shouldn't have been sent at all because they were basically dead or underdeveloped.

I guess I shouldn't be too surprised for having bought plants online. I'll just be going to my local plant store in the future.

Received my best of show agastache plants.. I reside in Sierra Vista, Arizona. The five plants that came in were beautiful specimens with excellent root growth. I would highly recommend high country gardens!

I ordered a collection of plants and 3 grew beautifully; the other 2 did not take. I requested replacements, and High Country Gardens staff responded kindly and gave me great confidence. This is the third time I've ordered plants in the last few years, and I will definitely order again. I highly recommend this company for its selection, service, and great shipping containers.

I would highly recommend high country gardens! I ordered 6 Lavender plants. 3 came in great shape and 3 came moldy and weren't able to be saved. They have had exceptional customer service through the entire process and I will be receiving replacement plants in the fall. Abbey even told me that one of the varieties I had picked was suited for my climate and asked if she could replace it with a better suited Lavender for my area.

I contacted HCG with an issue about some plants that didn't make it and were still under warranty. I had a response within a day and they went out of their way to answer a few questions I had about how to have better success with the replacement plants they are sending. In addition to the fantastic quality and selection they have on plants, including hard to find ones, it is this kind of service that keeps me a loyal customer.
