One of the most remarkable examples was their dedication to finding the perfect fountain. After an extensive search, they discovered a stunning trough from the 1600s, which they transformed into a beautiful and functional fountain for our garden. The attention to detail in this single feature was just incredible.

Beyond that, they made sure every need was met and worked with me on every detail, no matter how small. Their sincerity and professionalism were evident throughout the entire process. They added some truly unique features that have made our outdoor space stand out, all while staying within a reasonable budget.

Found them through a Lawn Replacement Rebate program and it has been great working with them from start to finish. They were knowledgable about the program and even offered great designs and ideas. The implementation time was quick and turned my lawn into a rock haven within 3 days! The neighbors are all giving me compliments on how good it looks as well as the cost savings with water and lawn care. These guys will take care of you from start to finish and offers competative pricing!

We had originally reached out to Herencia for a quote on our front yard drought-tolerant redesign, but pivoted to the backyard instead. In retrospect, we wish we had done both to maximize their time. That said, when we're ready, we're definitely having them do the front yard.

Alejandra and Jonathan were attentive from start to finish - they came for the initial walk through, prompted check-ins and were timely and responsive when we wanted to connect or had a question. When some of the plants in our design weren't readily available, they provided some alternatives for consideration and were always in communication as some of our decisions had cost implications. I never felt blindsided which is a huge plus when making such a big investment in your home.

They gave us a clear schedule of the number of days it would take over a few weekends and they made it happen! They also managed to keep to the schedule despite us adding a bit of extra work to their scope toward the end.

Their attention to detail is notable. They had caught on to how personal the project was for my husband and I in relation to a family loss and they were kind in creating a moment for us to celebrate the yard's completion with our family. And there was follow up after the yard was done, including helping us troubleshoot some scheduling issues with the irrigation system.

Overall, this family-owned business has a lot of heart on top of the quality of the work and the experience they provided to us as their clients. We're very much looking forward to working with them again in the near future on our front yard!

Not gonna lie- we were a bit nervous about going with a one-review-on-yelp/google team for our front + backyard landscape overhaul. Plus, a new deck to boot. Then we thought, hey, everyone has one review at some point. And so we met Jonathan + Alejandra for a consultation. Dynamic duo indeed! Their professionalism, calm energy and obvious knowledge base quickly reassured us that they were the right team for the job. And I'm not that easily impressed...
They did not disappoint. Herencia Landscaping simply impressed us from start to finish. We could not believe how amazing they were actually. Jonathan knows landscaping and Alejandra brings a great eye to the project. Everyone on their team was a pro. They were without exception all professional, efficient, courteous and so diligent. Their team actually finished the deck during tropical storm Hilary. It was surreal!
Even my neighbors were gushing by project end. Hahaha.
Just hire them. You will be so happy you did. I am now writing this while enjoying my beautiful new native garden from my perfect new deck!

We worked with Alejandra and Jonathan to do our water-friendly front yard landscaping. Everything went smooth and came out looking beautiful. They helped answer our questions and stuck to the plans so that we could easily get our LAWDP turf rebate. We followed up to continue using them to update some odds and ends with our sprinkler system and water valves and couldn't be happier.
