Very fun and educational museum, learned a lot about the local history of mining, indigenous peoples, and railroads, as well as Alfred Packer. Our docent was awesome and shared many good stories and answered questions knowledgeably.

Efrain gave the best tour. My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and we had a great time. The garden was beautiful! I will most definitely be enjoying a coffee and a good read in the garden all summer long. Julie was very friendly and helpful. I’m so glad we had the opportunity to experience the museum.

Absolutely worth visiting! The house and cabin are both absolutely stunning, with SO much inside. What I appreciated the most was that unlike other museums where you are stuck looking at things from afar, they actually encourage you to enter the rooms and look at all of the amazing items up close! Shannon is a knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining tour guide who made the tour such a fun experience! After the tour you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful gardens and views from the yard, while reading a book from their awesome gift shop! 11/10

The museum did a great job in preserving and presenting an exhibition. A host spent more than an hour to walk my wife and me through the museum and it was fantastic experience! Definitely recommend it if you have couple of space hours in Leadville.

This was one of the best historical house tours I’ve been on! You can get up close to all of the rooms in the homes. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, fun, and was able to answer our questions. She knew a lot about the history of Leadville and the surrounding areas.
