I recently visited Hashtag Cafe, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite spots in town! The space is clean, cozy, and beautifully curated, creating an inviting yet chic atmosphere. One of the best features is their unique idea of encouraging guests to stay as long as they like and knit, adding a creative and community-centered vibe to the cafe.

The coffee is exceptional—rich, flavorful, and clearly made with precision. For tea lovers, they offer a wonderful selection of loose leaf teas. And don’t even get me started on their homemade pastries! They’re fresh, decadent, and perfectly complement your drink, served in stunning mugs that elevate the entire experience.

Whether you're there to relax, meet friends, or simply enjoy a peaceful moment, Hashtag Cafe is the perfect spot to unwind and indulge. Highly recommend!

Located in central Sarasota, I was delighted to find this family owned, local coffee shop. The Rose Latte is incomparable, the spinach and feta pastry amazing, and everything else on the menu is just spectacular. The atmosphere and customer service they provide is very welcoming. Whether you need a quick pick me up before your busy day, or want to stay and get some work done, you will be pleasantly surprised!

The coffee…a delight, the food…stellar, the service…wow, it’s one of the friendliest, genuine and sincere places I’ve been, the owner is inclusive, interesting, generous and so easy to talk to…this place feels like your spot from the get go. It’s worth it to just visit once and you will see what I am talking about…and you just might find yourself becoming a new member of this coffee shop community.

We didn't eat any food but the owner is charming and the place has a great atmosphere. There were several young people drinking and chatting when we were there. The owner served our coffees - which were very nice by the way - and we didn't have to pay until we were leaving which makes a nice change! We will definitely return next time we are in Sarasota

I just came in to do some work while waiting for my son to get out of school. I met the owner and talked with him a little bit and I found out that he grew up in Germany. What a coincidence: I study German in college, but I have rarely had a chance to practice, so the rest of our conversation was in German. It was fantastic.

The environment was really comfortable to work. I wasn’t bothered by anyone and the temperature inside was pleasant.

My cappuccino was amazing. It was so good. I am seriously hoping for more client meetings in Sarasota so I can hang out here more often.

Come for the coffee, stay for the company!

Hashtag is a fantastic spot to enjoy a solid cup of coffee, tasty pastries, and a friendly welcoming environment. The cafe part is high quality, but the real standouts are the owners. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and seem to genuinely care about the people who come through their doors. They are absolutely a highlight of the Hashtag experience. This is the kind of place where you walk through the door and the person behind the counter remembers your name, what you do for work, and what your favorite drinks is.

Also, a note about parking. If things look full in the front, there is a back entrance and some more parking throughout the perimeter of the building!
