Best place in town to rent machinery and pretty much anything. Did a Dethatch project here at home. They had a very nice machine to do that job. This it was $30 or $35 for 4 hours.

I tried to return a product I didn't need and because it was the time of the hurricane. Was told all storm products are non returnable that there was a sign posted. We'll I got my product out of a box on the floor. No sign visible. Doesnt say storm products exclusions on the receipt. Says returns with receipt only. You won't stick me again! I'll go to home depot

I wish I could give this place a 0.0 stars they don't even deserve a one star. The female manager and the clerk up front is completely rude and ridiculous. They are considering screws and nuts, " hurricane supplies" and won't accept a return. Absolutely petty to say the least considering that I go to this place of Business weekly and I've been patronizing it for the last almost 16 years picking up last minute Marine suppliesas well as I run a mobile marine repair business. I will never step foot in this place again after today and I hope everyone sees this and they will do the same. Nowhere in the hardware aisle does it say that hardware is non-returnable because it's considered a hurricane supply.. i've never heard anything so absurd in my life..

I sure hope the business owner sees this review as I am a small business owner in Englewood, Florida myself this is beyond Ridiculous and absurd

I have spent $2-3,000 a year there for 17 years. My wife bought and opened some wire to hang a picture. It was the wrong gage. I went to exchange it with the receipt. I was very clear that if they couldn’t exchange because it was open I understood. A manager came out and explained that the problem wasn’t the open package but that I might have cut the wire I needed already. I explained that I didn’t. She said she couldn’t know. I said I was seeking an exchange, why would I do that if I was lying? I suggested that if she denied the exchange she could just say it was due to the open package rather than questioning my honesty. Then she said I should apply for her position if I could do better.

The store is staffed with 3 stars for hospitality as the staff obviously has beef with each other. I’ve visited this store over 8 times this month. Each visit shows the same poor customer service skills for all of the many employees that the owner employs. Perhaps, everyone that works there are family members? As far as the store itself, I give 5 stars!!!! They have more hardware than most stores I’ve visited. As a contractor, and engineer; I love West Coast Hardware Store only because they have it all. (Minus hospitality)
