They never showed up. I received a notice they were delisted from the website I'd hired them through, but they had already contacted me. I reached out to them I advise that I would still like to continue using their service and was told that they could still come to my location and would do my yard for the quoted price and even a couple dollars cheaper. They agreed to come Monday, that was 2 weeks ago....

We were in need of a new company for our mowing and landscape services so we saw north Texas lawns had some great reviews so we talked with them and hired them. We were excited to see their completed job just for a simple mowing service. For some reason that is hard to find around here. We came home to a very choppy and uneven lawn, and saw that the grass was just dumped from their bag on the side of our house. We walked around to the backyard and saw that they had blown tons of grass into our pool- which is a huge hassle to get out. At that point we were pretty upset with the lackluster job they had done, next we walk around the the other side of our backyard and see that they spilled a whole bucket of paint in our lawn- we couldn't believe it! They just left it there like it never happened. What's weird is it wasn't even close to the grass so I'm not sure why they would have even moved the bucket in the first place. FYI paint is extremely hard to get out of grass! So I immediately take pictures of everything and call the company which Tyler the owner answers. I told him what happened and he tells me this is the first time he has heard of a complaint like this it's never happened before and that he can come out on Monday to look at it. By the way- this was at 5pm on a Friday. He made it very clear it was his Friday and he was not working the weekend. I told him no thanks we would have to clean up the paint before then because in the dallas summer heat it was already drying in our grass. He didn't really seem to care. He did offer to not charge us for the week, but with what happened that was expected of them. Definitely had higher hopes and expectations for this company.

I had a very good experience with NTL. I called another company to trim our shrubbery and trees and they wanted over $700. I had seen NTL in our neighborhood and I called them for an estimate. They came out the same day and quoted me $200. We needed some serious trimming in the front yard and I felt this was a fair price, so I hired them. I had called on a Friday and they came the following Monday. They did everything that I had asked them to do and the final cost was around $180. Everything looks so much better now. They also have an online payment system, so no checks to deal with. I am very pleased with this company.

I was very impressed by how are lawn looked after just one visit. I asked them to remove a big rusty looking rock from our front lawn which made our lawn look even better aesthetically. This isn't just a moe and blow it lawn service. They do a really great job. Can't wait to see how the flowers look they started to plant. I'm very happy I chose them. They also email a very detailed summary of the work they plan to do with dates which was impressive.

I contracted this particular lawn company after moving in and have had nothing but problems. I travel a lot for work so my time is limited to do the heavy upkeep of my lawn.

Most Friday's when they come I am not home but make sure the dogs droppings are not in the way of the mowers (common curtesy) the gate is unlocked, etc. I have maintained 3 distinct needs based on this service:

1. Low-setting mowing
2. Nice crisp edging
3. Bushes trimmed

That's it. Obviously hoping the crew hired for my yard specifically, not to be lazy and do the things required I'm paying for. I have had to call 3 times to let the girl at the front desk know so she can put "notes in my file" about simple yet already discussed details. Details that cannot be completed due to pure laziness or some other fact that is beyond me and my wife.

I have also put in texts to Tyler Brown whom I assume runs or is the head of the company. Responses I get are "Thanks for the feedback." I guess a "I certainly apologize for the inconvenience and will make sure it is fixed," is too much.

Another example of the poor business/ lack of care comes from a simple text that read:

"Travis, we have you down to get mowed on Fridays but everytime my guys come by, the yard looks mowed."

So I call Sara at the front desk and she informs me that the guys leave notes on the door and knock to see if I need anything done. Ive never seen a note-niether has my wife. There are Friday's where I have been home and seen or heard nothing as I explained to Sara. There are obvious things that can be done. Maybe pick up leaves, trim the bushes (supposedly one of the "notes" in my account), edge and weed-eat the taller grass and/or weeds. That's too much for these guys to do so the laziness is present here.

When I came home Friday evening, my wife says, "I thought you get the yard mowed on Fridays?" I go to look and it looks as if it was just edged and weed-eated in some spots. Completely uneven and even have pictures to prove it.

If I were you, this would not be the lawn-service of choice. They're lazy and being as though most businesses rely on customer service and feedback, I have never seen anyone check to make sure yards are being done correctly. Would probably be a good idea: called "check/balance." Maybe I'm too much of a perfectionist and will start doing my yard myself after this latest dibocle, however I just needed some help considering my work schedule and this company failed miserably. I'm sure others have had positive experiences like the two gentlemen above. That's awesome you both had positive experiences.

Take my experience for what it's worth, but this company lacks any type of leadership, professionalism and accountability.

Horrible communication when you're trying to get him to mow your lawn. Only communicate decently when he wants to collect payment.
